  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My name (I think) is Acts6-8. It tells my favorite story of bible, the story of Stephen, who was chosen among disciples who followed the death of Christ, to preach the gospel to the pharisees, who were mistreating members of the church. The pharisees did not believe in the divinity of Christ, but followed the customs of the old ways. Stephen went to them and he told them that everything they believed was correct, except that every sign by the prophets showed that Christ was the Son of God, and that everything they had believed had shown this to be true. And the pharisees didn't like this, and they plugged their ears and rushed upon Stephen, and quickly put him to death. But before Stephen was put to death by the pharisees, god had mercy on him, and allowed him to die before ever feeling any pain.

There are a lot of protestant churches who are all accepting followers, all looking to build upon their church, but what I want are true followers of Christ's word, people who are well-versed in the word of god, who become monks to follow Christ's word the best that they can, and when they approach someone who they will show them the way, they will do it by example of how they live their lives, not just knowledge of what the bible says.

Living in the Lord's law provides so much benefit, it is said that the wisdom of God's law is more precious than any earthly jewel. This is true because those who seek to do God's will will always be provided for, and no manner of earthly wealth will every compare to the reward we receive in heaven.

What I want is a loosely defined church which is well-versed in the teachings of Christ, who give up everything except a staff, a bible, and the clothes on their back, to seek out food each day from those who are willing to give it, and spend the majority of their time showing that OUR church, the church that follows the teachings of Christ, isn't the church that condemns everyone else for their ways, but lives the word of our Lord Jesus Christ every day, and invites everyone to welcome him into their heart.

I am one who doesn't have much to lose, and I am good at reaching out to people to people to fulfill my needs for food and water, such as talking to grocery managers to ask if there is anything they can spare for the day. I am also severely mentally ill, and I am full of sin, and I believe that God and evil spirits communicate with me regularly in various ways, and I might never reach the kingdom of god because of the things I've done in my heart, and God tells me that what I'm saying is going to hurt the message I'm trying to spread, but he tells me that I will not be the head of this new church I want to inspire, but it will be the people that I inspire with these thoughts. Maybe someone will understand and they will lead.
