Newborn baby found in New York church nativity manger

The other miracle being a nativity scene was allowed to remain visible on a church property.

Is that am issue where you live? Churches being forbidden from having Nativity scenes? Haven't heard of that being an issue on church property.

Not really, they refer to public property, not church property

I am thankful that everyone is including the birth mom in their prayers and blessings. I'm a birth mom too, although I went through more conventional channels. I think it was right, especially being adopted myself. Yet I still sometimes feel guilt, especially now as I wonder if and how I should let my sons know about their much older half sister.

What a town near me did was to sell a piece of it's land to a private citizen, so they could put up a nativity with-out any complaint that it was on "public" land.
