So I went on omegle today for the purpose of evangelizing and came across a 14 year old kid who said he was on the verge of leaving Christianity. I answered all of his theological questions, but he couldn't accept that he couldn't understand everything and that he couldnt have every answer. I preached the gospel to him in love on many occasions, but he didn't listen. He said that I made him decide to leave Christianity. As I finished explaining God's love for him, my internet disconnected. Coincidence? My heart is utterly broken for this young man. I feel like I just made the biggest mistake in my life. Pray for my conscience to be cleared and for him to reconsider the truth and be saved.

it's our LORD's place to call one to Himself. please do not beat yourself up because i do not believe you drove this person away from the LORD. clearly, this young man never knew Him, and it's his choice to walk away... but i pray for him, and for you, dear. may God bless you abundantly, and your dear heart of love for Him. keep evangelizing.

At 14, not all are mature enough to make such decisions...or they are rebellious and challenge anything they don't understand, their friends don't accept, or their parents are pushing them to accept.
Some are just trolls, looking to get a rise out of Christians.
Be at peace ~ you planted the seeds and the Lord will oversee the growth in HIS perfect timing for this soul.

You did the Lord proud by reaching out to this young person. Keep up your spirits and who knows he might come back to Jesus when he is ready. But don't be discouraged if he doesnt.

God's Word does not return to Him void.... whatever of God's Word you said to this young man the Holy Spirit can remind him of it. We do not win others... the Holy Spirit does all the work! Whenever entering into a "religious" discussion about the faith... I always make sure of where they stand regarding Jesus... WHO do they say Jesus is... until they acknowledge Him as God's Son, the conversation is useless and circuitous.

Praying you and for him! I think of the mustard seed parable - something that may seem tiny, that may seem like it didn't/won't take root, can grow into a great big tree. I think you planted a seed that I hope will grow!

Why? You were on Omegle. You know you were talking to someone the site linked you to and who told you they were a 14 year old kid with doubts and thinking about leaving the faith.
Maybe your connection was lost because that was God telling you to stop working so hard when you were being played. God knows his own. If God's word resonates with someone you don't have to take a sledgehammer to them to get their attention. Feel better. You know you did your best with a good and open heart. That's the end of your responsibility.
