From the traditional understanding of hell, the people in Noah's day that died were also spared in the way you compare Satan here in that they spent eternity in hell. IOW's the comparison is flawed based on the traditional understanding of hell and eternity without God. Just saying...

Also, just so you know, God is trying to make people less sinful with a simple "okay, that is what I choose" and man runs from that like it was doom, so not sure how a simple thought would make it better, then we would have all kinds of people trying to fight God for the right to do what they want just like they do now.
You can't see how an all powerful god could use a thought to make people less sinful? Also, people wouldn't be able to run from it because according to y'all he is as I said earlier, all-powerful. So if he could make people less sinful, why did he just kill them unless he dislikes us?

Okay, two things going on, so tackling one at a time.

How an all powerful God could use a thought to make people less sinful....do you know why we need to be less sinful? It is because we learn to Love. Love here meaning Biblical Love which is to put another above self in an act of humility creating a covenant whose intent/purpose is reconciliation/restoration. IOW's obedience isn't God's big concern because His purpose is reconciliation/Love. Let me see if I can figure out another way to say the same thing....Let's say you have a family. Your spouse and children obey you but they do it because you demand it, not because they Love you. I grew up with a father like that, and it isn't pleasant to say the least. We obeyed out of fear and force not out of respect and Love. God wants respect and Love to motivate our obedience because that is what fulfills us and His design. Now....let's be fair, your complaining about hell being that fear motivated obedience, but that is how people twist hell, not how God sees it and created it. God's design for hell is that it is for the devil and his demons, but, He isn't opposed to using it for those who refuse to accept Him, iow's not a threat. In fact, God doesn't threaten at all. God's plan is that no one should suffer in hell, but that isn't enough to keep them out because forced obedience does NOT fulfil. We have two very strong willed children and 3 strong willed children. No punishment is strong enough and no reward good enough for them to conform to the rules. This is how man is, for many of mankind, no reward is good enough and no punishment bad enough, that is why it must be Love that spurs us to obedience not threats and force.

Now, as to death. God's perspective is very different than our perspective. Everything we see is through the eyes of the flesh. Look at it this way, we are living in a house and looking out the windows, never leaving that house. That means the only perspective we have is what we see out of the windows. God on the other hand is outside the house and inside the house and can freely travel anywhere He wants. As such, He has a different perspective than we have. God sees much more of the world and how it functions. So, from God's perspective, an eternal God, who sees outside the house windows, He says, 'you guys are not only destroying yourselves but everything I created and pulling my children away from me and into slavery and death as well. I cannot allow you to do that. I cannot allow you to destroy my home, enslave my children, kill my family, so I will stop you from doing so.' Thus, He stopped them. Our perspective is, He could have done it a different way, but remember we can only see what is right outside our window. So all we see is that God killed and could have done something different. God sees beyond our window view and says, I can't allow you to destroy my home and family, so I will put you all in jail instead. Yes, in God's perspective, hell is jail and you can only go to that jail when your flesh dies iow's you are separated from your fleshly home, your window perspective. This then, in your eyes would leave the question of why can't we have the same perspective as God, well, in Christ, we do, but in other terms, that is what physical death does, it changes our perspective, frees us from our window view and gives us another view.
