Cull? Liquidate? Lesser-worthy?

You monster.
Modern fiction? Absolutely.

Some of them I haven't the foggiest why I even bought them. Good thing they were cheap.

Why would I waste shelfspace on a biography of Marie Antionette when it could serve a collection of essays on Beowulf? Why would I keep a pedestrian introduction to the Bible when I have a perfectly good collection of essays on the Bible I could put in its place.

My library is usually in a state of flux, and books often upgrade until I have an archive-quality edition, or a good hardcover at least.

Phase 2 of operation "Bull In A Suit" complete in an operation that has 5 phases.

1. Buy suit
2. Take suit to the alteration place.
3. Pray to God like crazy that I got the measurements right AND that the seamstress lady gets it right. So that the suit fits just right.
4. Pick up suit from the place on Thursday and pay the lady (Also wash her hands so she will wash mine when I go in there for my next suit...... by offering to help her get more business)
5.Wear suit (that fits awesome I hope and pray) to the awards and knock out not only my date, but the other ladys there with my sexiness so she feels even more special by being the only lady there with the handsomest bull in all the land. ;)

I kind of cautioned on the side of error. I took several different leg measurements..... they all feel between 10.5 off the leg and 9.5 so.... I opted to take off 9.75 off the legs and 3.25 off the sleeves instead of the constant 3.5 measure I repeatedly got. Better to need to cut some off than cut it too short. After all, I can deal with slightly bigger suit than is "perfect fit".... I CAN NOT roll in a suit altered to small.

Then of course it will be off to the florist end of next week to get the lady's favorite flowers...... Sure, Im not dating this woman, but that don't mean I shouldn't make her smile and feel beautiful just cause. Seriousness of the date does not mean a pass on making the lady feel special. Thats not how this bull rolls.

Bull in a three piece suit...... watch yo self. :p

Seriously are you being for real.

Maybe we should step up and actually stop bombing other countries. We caused IS through the illegal war of Iraq. We cause war and terror by going into other countries and taking resources for the last hundred years.

We should be taking our actions into account first rather as usual trying to blame others.

That's the real issue and because of our involvement we have cause these poor people to flee we should step up and take them in..

Pppffffttttttt you need your head check! Stay and fight... for the love of god what's wrong with you, to question people fleeing. Don't you think they haven't fought, seen our bombs drop from the sky, IS taking over there towns.... it's hard press to ask people to fight when they have nothing left to fight with.

P.s it's our government who do the arms deals that proved IS with the weapons

This is true that the US and its allies are partially responsible for the situation there, but not fully. You need to learn your history of the Middle East. Before the invasion of Iraq there were still many problems, this is what the US failed to understand.

Iraq is built upon 3 major parties - Sunni's, Shiite & Kurds. Struggles between these groups go right back through the ages. Sunni's and Shiite don't get along due to differences in beliefs of the succession of Imam's and the martyrdom of Ali and Hussein. Kurds, a people who have been oppressed (including Saddam's attempted genocide of them) who struggle for their own homeland.

Syria - one of the countries involved in the Arab revolutions. Yes, the US did arm the rebels involved in this.

IS - which developed from Al Qaeda. Which was founded by Osama Bin Laden & al-Zawahiri - Osama held a personal grudge against the Saudi Royal family and the US because he was turned down with his troops to the US instead which then held a military presence in Islam's holiest cities.

If people are not going to fight to defend their own country and homes - who is going to do it? If they have nothing left, then they need someone to arm them. If they have nothing - how is the 'West' meant to support them? I'm sure you are aware of the unemployment and economy issues at the moment - Western countries cannot even support all of their own people, let alone taking others in. You must be realistic.

Yeah we are really poor when the uk government are going to renew trident for 100 MILLION....... yeah but cant help people
Maybe if companies and bankers and the wealth pay their proper taxes and not blow our money.

Do you have any clue how much money we in the uk pay towards the royal family who already are worth billions

Maybe we should stop selling arms that would help.

They have no homes to defend.

Anyway.....

In a&e step dad very sick :(

U wot? Free books from newspapers-- I've never heard of such a thing. No, Kerry. I try to collect reputable books, paying attention to the authors' credentials, acknowledgments, and bibliography, and consulting reviews whenever possible. A few of the publishing houses whose books I own include, but are not limited to Norton, Wiley-Blackwell, Oxford University Press, University of Chicago, University of Toronto Press. I was not always this scrupulous.

But, hey. Think what you will.

Very nice. I've been in the process of building a 2 ½ metre bookcase for my room. The first of several, Lord willing.

Awards? What are the awards for?

Congrats btw.

Havent won anything yet.... its simply a "finalist" situation.

It's mostly a Congrats to my friend as he is the writer and the one with "a vision" of what he wants, but thank you. My friends and I just help him to make it happen. I officially have Cinematographer, Actor and Artist credits over just the more recent films we have made.

The awards are the reason for the new suit. We are entering more of these things so.. a first suit is a good investment. We have another movie currently in a festival in KY (One that I acted in, instead of simply working off screen as the one that is a finalist).

If that reaches the finalist level we will be road tripping. :D

I wish I could answer to the affirmative. Alas, it's a far more pragmatic philosophy of what will fit, how and where.

I will say the idea of modelling anything after a particular mathematical equation has been destroyed after what befell a character in a tale I wrote.

On my mind.....

Thank you, God for oh so much that you do...... and the wisdom passed down to man that created the "Three day weekend". Which, the creation of is only eclipsed by the genius that is a four day weekend.

I do not have a four day weekend sadly, but...... I DO have the joy of a three..... also...

You always seem to know, when just "one more day" of work would lead to blood shed and bring forth the weekend so that I may escape temptation. :sorry:

Ah, cool. Well its fun just to be there, and get dressed up. :D My brother had his (first) wedding reception at a hotel that's attached to a casino, in Green Bay. I was wearing a tux so had to go to the black jack tables for at least a few hands, lol. :D :sorry: Last time that I wore a tux...

Yes, the last time I dressed as well as I will be next weekend was at my friends wedding as his best man. I was in my early 20s.

A friend always calls me "Pitbull" because he thinks I look like the singer..... so maybe I will get some big goofy sunglasses and confuse some people. :D
