The rules are simple: If you reply ten minutes after the last post, ten minutes is added to your score; respond six months after the last post, six months is added to your score. Your posts should contain the running total of your score.

Go.

Actually, you should let this sink to the bottom.

Then go.

1 month and 3.5 days. ^_^

Unless double posts are against the rules.
No rule whatever against double posts! But how do you have a month on here? The last post was from July ninth, and today is August first.

Do u know what necromancy is? If so, why is it even mentioned here?
I'm well aware of the definition of necromancy. Thread necromancy is a term used to denote the action of posting on a thread which has been inactive for a given amount of time, and bumping it to the top of the forum. It is also known as gravedigging.

So, in this game, the longer this thread has been dead before you revive it, the more points are added to your score.

There's nothing remotely occult about it.

Yes, we know what necromancy is. A "zombie thread" or "necromancy thread" is internet slang for a thread that has been "revived." It had been inactive for a long period of time when someone replies to it.

You know I thought about this thread yesterday, and then when I logged onto reply "1 MONTH FTW!!!", I saw that you replied.

So I was reading a thread I noticed was 12 years old and got to the earliest posts and noticed the comments were talking about a necromancy thread game. This strikes me as incredibly disrespectful to the people who originally posted, sincerely seeking advice, and it discourages me from posting what I had in mind to post on this particular forum, as I never want anyone to do this with any of my threads. I don't think that this game should be played, I think there are more constructive ways to use one's time and other games to play on different websites even that are actually for gaming. This strikes me as wrong and just think about it, would you really want someone to find your own thread that you had posted and just play a game with it? That's not Christlike at all. :(

I think old threads are still relevant for today and its very christlike to be concerned for others and praying for them when they single and maybe worried about being single when theyve been married before. Its hard to adjust to single life. What they have written may help someone today. Just like the bible was written thousands of years ago and the words are still relevant today

The thread necromancy game though...doesnt seem very christlike. I just didnt know how it was meant to be played. Seems a waste of time to me tbh.

She's talking about another thread that I think Scraparcs first replied to and then I poster a necromancy-ish meme after seeing how old that thread was.
