How Many People Have you Met?

I'm guessing over 10,000. I've always had a large network of friends and acquaintances and such. Having been to four different universities for at least a year each, I've met thousands upon thousands of students just through class and being involved in extracurriculars. Add in all the people I've met through my family, all the people I've met in the many different jobs I've held... It's gotta be well into the thousands.

Probably around (but probably not more than) 10,000.

I put 1000 to 5000, but its probably more, I'm just not able to think about it at this hour of the night !

The <200 would be for those in a small town?

Absolutely over 10,000. I love meeting new people.

Only about 20. It's hard when you never leave the house.

Well given that I've moved about 20 times in the last 10 years alone, and another 20 times from 0-18, I would say I've met 10,000+. I went to 4 elementary schools, one middle schoo and to 3 highschools in three different parts of the state. I've been to three colleges in 3 different parts of the state, so I've met so many people, I honestly wouldn't be able to count.

In the last three years the number of people i've talked to more than thrice numbers an estimated 14,000. Not that difficult given that I live/work/play in an area rife with students, tourists and people who own holiday homes I meet a number of people on a regular basis.

Also the mechanics/waiters/etc. all count owing to most places having a small staff base.

Having said this I could only name about 120 people or so off the top of my head. It's not really the number of people you meet that should be considered, but the number of people you bother to get to know.

About 600. In elementary school grade 0-5 I had many friends, but it was a small school, that amounts to approximately 100. Some of the people I've met have been for example a few librarians that I've met several times (I've been to libraries a lot), a few bicycle repair men, 3 moped repair "buddies" I've met, teachers (I've had at least 25 different teachers during elemantary school and high-school). Later on in in the elemantary school and high-school I talked to about no-one, so that time amounts to only about 50.

As adult, I've every now and then talked to people in church and the clergy.

Then I've met several police-men and mental health-care personel and patients and lawyers and judges, that amounts to approximately 60 people. Just approximately...

Then I had a propriatary firm in 2008, pedicabs, and met several hundred people during approximately half a year.

Actual friends that I've had as an adult can be counted with the fingers of three hands, so that's very few.

I haven't met social workers, just one or two and I didn't apply.

If i think about all the schools ive been at, all the classes ive taken, all the churches i used to go to, and the church camps ive been to then yeah.

Probably over 10,000.

I've been secluding my self from others since forever.
Most of those numbers are just from school and family for me.
And since you count out the internet that's even less

I don't talk much....

I think less than 200 or maybe some more. Churches I attended had 30 people, 20 in a school class and you don't talk to everyone, mostly a small group of friends. I haven't even met thousands if I count the waiters or internet. I work at the same office since '96.

I know Ive met more than 10,000 people. Friends, churches, business, and organizations. I dont mean passing acquaintances. And Ive had almost 48 years in which to meet them all. lol
