That's what I thought it was, since Kelly had said it was a surgical procedure, but wasn't positive.

Finn slept better last night, and the NG tube will go back in when the home nurse gets in. Unfortunately, Kelly is sick, she's not sure with what, so she's off to the doctor.

Finn is absolutely furious at having the NG tube back in, but he did sleep better last night.
I think they have a consult about the G tube procedure today or tomorrow so that will likely be soon.

G tube surgery is set for September 15.
Prayers all around for this weekend: Kelly has food poisoning (why she was sick the other day); big brother Mason got sent home from school today and it turns out he's got strep and a double ear infection! So they're just hoping Finn doesn't end up sick as well!

Everyone seems to be feeling much better than they were on Friday. Mason was able to go to a birthday party yesterday and Kelly & Michael got to go out last night to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary (which is actually today). And Finn is his usual happy smiling self

Finn's having a bit of a rough time lately, completely congested if he lays down flat and he's allergic to stuff that might help clear it up (Vick's Vapo Rub, etc.) But there's nothing to be done so they're just playing the waiting game 'til the 15th.

He did it! He finally had a decent sleep! After many nights of camping out in the living room, I could tell that Finn was getting just uncomfortable being in his bouncer so much. I tried him in his crib last night and he did so much better than I expected. He woke up three times needing paci and then a 4th time around 5am and wanted to be held so we moved back down to the living room to start out day.

We have a pretty relaxing day planned; just cleaning and getting ready for Dr Seuss week!

Finn slept so much better last night! He was in his light weight, summer time Zippy!!! I got him up at 5:30 am for meds and decided to take him downstairs bc he was coughing pretty bad.

We have family photos in just a little bit and then prepping for a busy week of surgery preop appointments and Dr Seuss week!
