Hello brothers and sisters,
I guess the recent release of Microsoft Windows 10 had many of you either liking it very much or fuming with anger. If you belong to the second category and want to change badly to a good OS which has similar interface to Windows and has many useful program the answer is .............. not a mac. You see Apple and mac OS X and iPhones are costly and restricts your freedom so much. You should not need to spend way too much to get so little. And you should definitely need not to spend a fortune to do your everyday daily tasks. Do not buy a mac. Get a linux instead.
Fear not, when I say linux because modern linux have improved so much, it is almost indistinguishable from windows in functionality and does not need to type anything or remember anything. Here is how you do it.
Best User Friendly Linux: Linux Mint Cinnamon
Go to the below link and choose the appropriate processor bit of your computer (32bits or 64bits), and download an iso DVD image.

Now you need to make an installation image. For an easy way, simply insert a blank DVD in your DVD drive and write the iso image to that disk. Or with a little extra effort you can use your thumb drive, USB stick or SD card (via USB card reader) and write the iso image to that using either UNetBootin or pendrivelinux. The instructions are given in the following pages.

After you have created the installation media, boot your computer or laptop with it. As the installation media is a live media, you will be booted into a fully functional linux desktop. On the desktop double click on the shortcut named "Install Linux Mint". The installation procedure is similar to Windows XP or 7. You may wipe everything clean on the disk and install it or you may choose to partition your disk. Everything is done in GUI. After the installation reboot into your fresh Linux Mint Desktop.
You can install many useful softwares from software manager using mouse. Many popular softwares are entire LibreOffice Suite, VLC, Firefox, Opera, Filezilla, Wine, Thunderbird, GIMP, Skype, Audacity, Pidgin, Blender, Dropbox, Cheese, Picasa, Steam, Amarok, Avidemax, Pitivi, Rythmbox, Openshot, simple-scan, eVince etc. and many more. It also has many games and other things.
Here are some screenshots.
