Jurassic World

True and just like Owen cares deeply for dinosaurs, Ash cares deeply for his pokemon who he sees as his friends not tools of war. Team Rocket like other criminal organizations use pokemon for their own evil purposes and exploit them. You see this quite abit in the anime from the likes of Hunter J, Vicious from the Celebi movie, Zero from the eleventh pokemon movie, Giovonni and the whole of Team Rocket. In Origins they killed a mother marowak. If Owen is Ash then who would Barry and Clair be? And in a possible sequel, which may go into Dinosaurs used for different things, what if they did a plot like Pokémon Black and White with N and Team Plasma. I can see an N counterpart being same except only raised seeing dinosaurs abused and his adoptive father like Ghetsis spreading lies about liberation of dinosaurs only to have them to himself. I wonder how it could go? Who would stand for Truth and Ideals.

I realize I'm probably in the minority but I went back and watched The Lost World and Jurassic Park III and I still think JP3 is the better film. Don't get me wrong, it's silly and fairly unnecessary but at least it's entertaining and knows exactly what it is: a 90-minute action romp. The Lost World is messy and soulless, desperately looking for a tone and never gets there. Jurassic World is easily the best of the sequels but I've always felt that 3 gets a bad rap.

I agree. The ending to III is stupid but the rest of the movie is okay. The Lost World was awful in my opinion. Spielberg's worst movie by far. JW was generally solid, I didn't like the raptors "talking", but the finale made up for it. The original is obviously the best.

The thing with The Lost World, it was only written in novel form and made into a movie to ride the coat-tails of the success of JP, Crichton unabashedly extracted the very same formulas in JP and reused them in TLW.

Reused the exact same character types. Crichton didn't change much of anything but simply wrote JP again.

TLW both book and movie was nothing but a cash-in.

I just dislike both sequels, on one hand a T-Rex running rampant in San Diego and on the other hand a lame revisit to the island for rescue mission featuring a pubescent kid of amazing survival skill.

I went to see this a few months ago. It was a pretty good movie. Better than the last two movies in my opinion. This is the sequel we should have got after The Lost World.

..But I still think it could have been better. So here's.....

. THE MOVIE STARTS IN THE WRONG PLACE.
The movie should have started a few years earlier when the older brother is a young kid, the younger brother hasn't been born yet and Jurassic World has just opened. He goes to Jurassic world with his parents to see the dinosaurs, and the whole place is full of people. Cut to a few years later and the young kid is now a teenager who just wants to pick up chicks, his younger brother is now the excited kid and there are less crowds of people.
This would give more impact to the whole parents getting divorced thing instead of it being just one scene where its mentioned and never referred to again and would also show instead of just tell why the Indominus Rex was created.

. USE ACTUAL ANIMATRONICS.
They said they used animatronics but honestly it all looked like CGI. My guess is that they CGIed over the animatronics.
The scene with the raptors heads in those cages and the children petting the baby dinosaurs both looked like CGI when they could have used animatronics. How cool would it have been if they had made a full size animatronic Indominus Rex head like they did with t-rex in the first film.

. WHY WAS JURASSIC WORLD ALLOWED TO BE BUILT?
They reference the first movie a few times but they never explain why Jurassic World was allowed to be built after what happed in the first movie.
Could have taken less than a minute to give an explanation.

.USE THE CAMO.
The Indominus Rex can camouflage itself but it only uses it once. You'd think it would be smart enough to use it to its advantage when fighting the T-Rex.

.TAKE OF THE HEELS!
Seriously, Bryce Dallas Howard's character spends the whole movie running away from raptors and T-Rexes and she never takes of her heels! lol

Finally watched this movie. As other jurassic movies series, this movie was best movie too.
