S.ilvio - it's because we got it in the neck if the ward wasn't clean !!

OK we had ward maids who actually did the floors , but the nurses pulled the beds away from the walls so that the ward maids could sweep / vacuum behind them and then push the beds back into place. Wards were 'shut' till the cleaning was done - no-one allowed in !! Then the Matron came round and her eagle eyes were everywhere - believe me if there was a speck of something where it shouldn't have been - you were told about it.

I don't doubt it for a second.

I'd love a packet of salty crisps but not while my mouth is in this state...

We seem to have had quite a storm overnight - certainly something woke me a couple of times - possibly thunder , but with no hearing aids in I don't hear a lot

Look as if there is a house sitter in next door - no sounds but the other car - the silver one - has been there overnight.

Pity about the rain though - wanted to do some more weed killing - but I need 6 hours rain free for that .

Went tothe chicks Mass yesterday morning, and would you believe, S.ilvio, after what you said, we WERE in the dark. The Polish priest forgot to turn the lights on!

I did not gave my chick dress on because I thought it was a bit much for Mass!

The apolush pruest came up to me this morning on his way to do Polish Mass (we gad already had our English one) and he has made me an honorary Pole!
