Hi I'm new to the forum. My fiance and I are getting married in a few months and we've discussed starting a family shortly after. Even though it sounds silly, with all the bible reading and studing I've been doing lately, and all the terrible things going on nowadays pointing to end times, I'm actually really concerned about bringing children into this world. I'm very conflicted. I keep praying for an answer but it hasn't come yet. Once you have kids there's no turning back. Any advice?

The standard Quiverfull POV would be, "Whenever you get pregnant (from married sex), God ordained for you to get pregnant."
Further, if God so ordained that for you, then having such children is a good thing, regardless of the world's seeming uncertainties. You will have to get on His page to make it work, though.

Let me congratulate you on your upcoming marriage amber.gilly

That is something many couples battle when they start discuss marriage, should we have kids in these times, how many, and listening to God is always a wise choice.

One thing to consider is what we did, we started off in public school, found what my daughter needed for help because we knew she would need it, then started homeschooling her at an age we knew we could help her achieve.

Mind you, this is what we did because we felt led to by the Lord to do this. Our daughter has made great strides. I do have to add that I used to be a public school teacher at one time. Maybe getting some experience in this area would be helpful to you as well, even if only as a substitute. Some states don't have much if any requirements to be a substitute other than some college education with no particular field of training.

While this may not be the best advice. You can also find a community to live in that is small, but has the important things in life...meaning a drug store, gas station, convenience store, grocery store, post office, department store, thrift store, small restaurants, local newspaper, auto parts store, hardware store, car wash, movie theater, community center, rec center...and the year round population of our town is 5600 and booms to close to 20,000 during the summer.
