That is something only you can figure out. It is different with every group. Some have strong feelings, and from your indication, you are getting that vibe.

I would be perfectly honest if asked. I would also not assume that they dislike Christians or Messianics. I would suggest talking to someone who is a part of the board or what ever organization they use to run the congregation. Let them know of your beliefs, ask them about their feelings on Christians attending (I am sure you are not the only one ) If you plan to attend regularly, then it's only right for them to know these things. If it was just a one time thing, then I would not bother to speak to anyone about it.
