Beliefs like this one, and similar viewpoints regarding those of other faiths held by people of other religions, foster the conditions that lead to religious conflict and hatred.

We can no longer afford to view those of different faiths and beliefs as anathema, followers of Satan, evil, and responsible for all the problems in the world.

Academically trained biblical historians have held that the Seleucids and the Ptolemies together were were the fourth beast.

"The visions of chapters 7–12 reflect the crisis which took place in Judea in 167–164 BCE when Antiochus IV Epiphanes, the Greek king of the Seleucid Empire, threatened to destroy traditional Jewish worship in Jerusalem.[14] When Antiochus came to the throne the Jews were largely pro-Seleucid. The High Priestly family was split by rivalry, and one member, Jason, offered the king a large sum to be made High Priest. Jason also asked – or more accurately, paid – to be allowed to make Jerusalem a polis, or Greek city. This meant, among other things, that city government would be in the hands of the citizens, which meant in turn that citizenship would be a valuable commodity, to be purchased from Jason. I have a slightly different opinion on Daniels book but i do see islam prophesied as the deception that would cause many to believe in a lie. 2Thes 2
Quran believers that trust in the bible should takw note.

The problem with this is that not one verse in the new testament condones such actions. These people are misguided and do not represent Christ. Who told us to bless our enemies, and forgive our executioners as he did on the cross.

We see the beheadings, and persecution going on in present day. Islam is teaches that Jesus is going to return as a Muslim, renounce Christianity and state that the cross was a hoax. Jesus will then (as Isa) smash every cross he can, and kill every Jew, and Christian that will not convert to Islam. (and all other infidels) And again this will be done by beheading them, and causing fear. two parts of scripture come to mind concerning this:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I think Islam will be the religion used to bring in the second coming of Jesus.

Well, it depends on the situation. There are those who interpret certain verses to favor defensive measures. I agree with some of those interpretations.

In this day and age you need to "consider the cost" of being Christian. Do you see the "and will walk unfettered to the gallows confessing Jesus Christ as the word of God made flesh." in my signature? Why do you think it is there? What is the big symbol below this post, and why am I displaying it? I know full well that I may slowly have my head carved from my body with a knife for my confession of Jesus. Do we really think it can't come to america?

I removed signature visuals from my profile to keep things tidy. But from what you wrote, I think that's admirable. I do think it can come to America; but a situation similar to Syria's is not in our near future. America has racial issues to deal with.

Sorry, but that hadith says nothing about slaying all the People of the Book. Indeed, the reference to abolishing the Jizya would suggest things will get better for minorities, not worse. Here is a much more accurate depiction of what is supposed to happen when Jesus returns:

"Jesus son of Mary will be a just administrator and leader of my Ummah.
He will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizyah (tax on non-
Muslims). He will not collect the Sadaqah, so he will not collect sheep
and camels. Mutual enmity and hatred will disappear. Every harmful
animal will be made harmless, so that a small boy will be able to put his
hand into a snakes mouth without being harmed,a small girl will be able
to make a lion run away from her, and a wolf will go among sheep as if
he were a sheepdog. The earth will be filled with peace as a container is
filled with water. People will be in complete agreement, and only Allaah
will be worshipped. Wars will cease, and the authority of Quraysh will be
taken away. The earth will be like a silver basin, and will produce fruits so
abundantly that a group of people will gather to eat a bunch of grapes or
on epomegranate and will be satisfied. A bull will be worth so much
money, but a horse will be worth only a few dirhams."
Someone asked,
"O Messenger of Allaah, why will a horse be so cheap?" He said,
"Because it will never be ridden in war." He was asked, "Why will the bull
be so expensive?" He said, "Because it will plough the earth."

The fact that Baha'u'llah abolished the jizyah for Baha'is helps establish that the Bab and Baha'u'llah are the fulfillment of these prophecies.

The Prophet (pbuh) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (pbuh). He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognize him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizya. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.

I think your missing the point that there will be no need to collect jiza, everyone is dead, and the spoils are so great there will be no need to accept charitable gifts.

strength: "mehode" means might, force, abundance. My point is some Christian priests in Syria are interpreting scripture in a way that permits their kin to fight in defense of their towns. The towns people are asking the priests for divine help and this is the outcome.
