I Am Seeking Advice Concerning My Grandparents

My mother and father are both Christians and have raised me to fear and love the Lord. Unfortunately, my grandparents do not have the fear of God in their hearts. When someone professes their love for God but they do not walk the walk, how do you tell them, "You are not living by what you preach and you refuse to change your ways"? We have been very kind to them by trying to make them apart of our lives but they refuse to make a relationship with us. When they visit, they are rude and degrading. What should I do? Yes, we continue to forgive them but they do not change. We have confronted them about this issue but they always go back to their old ways. My grandparents have not reached out to me and when I reach out to them they will either brag about my cousins or themselves. I just want them to know that God wants us to love each other and live humble lives. Please try to give me some advice for this has effected us since my birth. Thank you for taking the time to read this and God bless you.

Conner, you've really touched me deeply. I'm praying for the answer.

Confrontation is not the solution.
Leading by example is.
Depend on Him, not your efforts.
Continue to love the Lord, serve
Him, and your example, combined
with your prayers, guided by the
Holy Spirit, will lead the way.

Blessings,

Connor,
The best thing you can do for people is pray
for them.

Also...
your grandparents sound a lot like my FIL, he's
set in his ways and those ways don't include much relationship with us...it's been that way for
a LONG time...I've been part of the family for almost 13 years now... I can recall him visiting
us maybe a half dozen times in all those years.
