Trance Gemini was the last member to join the crew of the Eureka Maru before they rescued the Andromeda Ascendant and its captain, Dylan Hunt, from the event horizon of a black hole. On the Andromeda, Trance serves as Environmentals and Life Support officer, xenobiologist, botanist and Physician. Her work is mainly in the ship's hydroponics garden or medical deck, though serves as member of the bridge crew as well.

I really like sci fi especially Andromeda.
