Thoughts about the confusing word: "Law"

I mean the teaching of Christ (Gal 1:11-12) given to us by Paul in Ro 13:8-10. "Fulfilled" means that loving your neighbor counts for/is equal to obeying all the law. That's not me talking, that is the apostle giving the teaching he received from Jesus Christ personally (Gal 1:11-12).

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

So what was the answer regarding changing the over-all meaning of God's word, understood in the light of the words of God the Son?

Thoughts about the confusing word: "Law"

The word "law" incorporates all God's regulations in the OT. In the NT, they are all fulfilled in loving others and God (Ro 13:8, Mt 22:37-40).

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

Relevance? I find all surprises are revealed in his word, and consistent with all his word. Does God change the over-all meaning of his word in Scripture?

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

Does your FRIEND not clearly state that those who do not believe in him are condemned already? (Jn 3:18) Mystery = something never before revealed; e.g., the incarnation, the death of Christ, God's purpose to sum up all things in Christ, God's purpose to include a remnant of both Jews and...

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

Keeping in mind it must be understood in the light of Jesus' teaching, where Jn 3:18 governs all: "Whoever believes in the Son is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already."

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

Is the one tree of God's people broken (Ro 11:7), or have some branches just been cut off? The tree is functioning well. Time does not stand still for Christ-rejecting Jews. Those who die in unbelief are condemned (Jn 3:16), as are the rest of unbelieving mankind.

Do the scriptures reveal there will be two different raptures for the saints?

The NT use of the word harpazo (catching away) does not refer to souls, it refers to complete bodies.

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

The NT reveals that the body of Christ, the church is, and always has been, God's plan for his one people. The "Israel of God" (in contrast to the "Israel according to the flesh," 1 Co 10:18) is the 1) new creation (born again), including believing Jews (v. 15, Ac 13:32-34, 1 Pe 2:9); i.e...

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

You think the church is anti-Semitic? Not in my neck of the woods. Yet the teaching of Jesus Christ (Gal 1:11-12) through Paul puts Jews on the same footing as all mankind; i.e., salvation is conditioned on faith in Jesus Christ. Keeping in mind that Paul received his teaching from Jesus...

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

And only the remnant who have not been hardened will be saved during that 2,000+ years, right? Just as only a remnant of the Gentiles is being saved during that same time period?

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

God has only one people, the one olive tree of Ro 11, composed of both believing Jews and believing Gentiles. None who do not believe in Jesus Christ are in God's people.

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

The two olive trees are Zerubbabel (royal line of David) and Joshua (priest), pointing ultimately to the one Messianic King-Priest (Heb 7).

    Galatians 6:16 Evaluated

Abraham is the father of Israel. The NT is the OT revealed, while the OT is the NT concealed. Apostolic teaching is authoritative to the church, with which all understanding of Scripture must agree, right?. . .and wherein is one olive tree of both Jew and Gentile, right?
