Freemasonry is an ongoing study of morality and virtue based on ideals derived from many philosophical and religious sources. Its primary teachings are clearly inspired by the Holy Bible, particularly the Old Testament. Being a Freemason does not make a man a man of integrity, but it provides a man with the necessary tools to become one should he choose to use them. Freemasonry does not specify your religion or path to salvation--that is up to the individual.
