Genesis 1:

From the above, I understood that God made planet Earth on Day 3 and the sun on Day 4. Accordingly, from the biblical witness-time perspective, the earth appeared before the sun.

On the other hand, from the modern-day astronomy space-time perspective, the sun existed before the earth was formed.

I see them both as true, depending on the time perspective.

See How old is the earth?.
The earth is present in verse 1 before God began creating.

‭Genesis 1:1-3 NRSVUE‬
[1] When God began to create the heavens and the earth, [2] the earth was complete chaos, and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. [3] Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

God created the Heaven and the Earth on the first day. That means the first day lasted 8 billion years. Each day is half the length of the day before it. 8 billion, 4 billion, 2 billion, 1 billion, 500 million, 250 million. Then you can do a google search using those days and ask what happened four billion years ago. What you read in science will match up with what you read in the Bible. Science confirms that the Bible is accurate and true.

Nope, check the Bible.

‭Genesis 1:1-3 NRSVUE‬

Every creation day begins with God speaking, and God said.

That doesn't happen until verse three.

The formless Earth was already there before God began creating it, and giving it form.

And this is how Genesis chapter 2 begins as well, formless, barren. And then God begins creating when he forms Adam.

From the above, I understood that God made planet Earth on Day 3 and the sun on Day 4.

God did not make Planet Earth on Day 3.

He made Planet Earth on Day 1.

On Day 3, He made the Dry Land Earth.

Genesis 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Accordingly, from the biblical witness-time perspective, the earth appeared before the sun.

Correct.

On the other hand, from the modern-day astronomy space-time perspective, the sun existed before the earth was formed.

If they can't get it right, science has no business telling us how God created the universe.

I see them both as true, depending on the time perspective.

They are both true, because one is Planet Earth, while the other is Dry Land Earth.

That's one of the reasons Christianity has never had a defined teaching on the creation of the universe.

Every Christian ever born, alive today, and here tomorrow believes IN THE BEGINNING, GOD.

In other words, we all believe GOD DID IT.

If you "understand" that Genesis 1 is about a planet, then you are reading into the text concepts that were unknown to the authors.

When a boss calls in his secretary to take dictation, she doesn't have to know what the boss is talking about.

Her job is to write it down, whether she understands it or not.

Well, the Sun was made before the Earth. However, the Earth's atmosphere was opaque at first. Many years later, the atmosphere cleared up, allowing sunlight to reach the surface.

Sounds like you're saying God did a sloppy job, then left it to Mother Nature to clean it up.

Bible was not dictated.

That is correct, It wasn't.

It was inspired.

But the concept is the same.

Psalm 22, for example, describes a person being crucified, when crucifixion hadn't existed as yet.

No, the concept is not the same. Not even close.
