Yay! :)

Ahh, yes. They still are used actually from what I have read. I guess I do know about it; I remember my mom looking up (I think sheep) casings for our goat sausage at one time trying to determine which was the best type to order. I don't know too much about it, though I can imagine how it would gross some people out.

A lot of it now is paper or plastic for commercial production.

Well, they used to ask my brother and I to sing at church. My middle niece has a name for me, "Mr Opera".
Hmmmm....well, I can see I will have to put some careful thought into it. That would either put me right out or I'd just stay awake to listen.

You were over-dosing. Don't go by the recommendations on the label. Some people are sensitive to certain compounds. That's one reason you really have to know what youre doing when using supplements or herbal remedies.

Yeah, I wasn't going by the dose recommendations. I learned that the first time while taking creatine. I took the suggested dose when I was in my early 20s and I wound up in the doctors office a short time later due to pain in my kidneys (I was getting plenty of water, its all I drank all day every day while taking it). The only time a doctor has probably ever uttered the phrase "You need to stop working out or you will die."

She told me I either had kidney stones or cancer...either way I needed down time.... I was blessed, stopped dosing and had neither as far as I can tell.

I cut the dose in half for the beta alanine and creatine I only dosed a little the second time (pointless amounts if you ask "bodybuilders" but even in small doses, its more than I had without.) Beta Allanine was something I learned to be careful with the first time I took it. I put a TINY bit more than 1/2 a teaspoon (I didnt "level" the dose. Just scooped and dumped it in the cup) in there and I felt HORRIBLE. The "tingles" while taking too much of it at once were more like needles in every cell in my body...... after that I lowered the dose. I enjoyed the tingles, I DIDN'T like the needles. I still think even while cutting back I was still over dosing in the span of a month or so.

Thats why I want to find something that MAKES a difference.... that ISN'T going to have side effects and gives me just that little bit extra to push myself further. Its not about strength, its simply about the tank being empty and having no more energy to use the strength.

I dont care what Gatorade claims, its not all about electrolytes and potassium.

:ahah: We didn't have a sound system at our church, so my grandmother taught us how to project our voices without harming our vocal cords. She also taught us to sing. We have professional musicians and vocalists in our family.

Maybe, y'all could just take turns reading to me? ha ha ha.
I'd probably stay up to listen to songs instead of sleeping.

Hmm, can I read to you too?

Of course in my stories the handsome bull is always the rugged and awesome hero. :cool1:

Electrolytes are basically salt. And too much vitamin K is not good for you. It can actually poison you. I basically grew up on fruits and veggies and a high carb diet. We reserved meat for Sunday, usually chicken. And lots of milk, believe it or not, since milk could have killed us when we were babies. But once we were able to drink it, we drank a lot. Have you had your iron levels checked?

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away called Kentuckelot, there lived a Princess named…ummm, Sandy, yeah, Sandy. Actually, I have a sister named Sandy, but I digress…

One day, a fearsome beast called a Minotaur began terrorizing the kingdom. It was a terrifying beast made from a bull and a man. They called it Toro. And Toro loved to comsume the flesh of Beta Allaninites. They made him tingle. The Princess’ father called for a hero to slay the mythic beast.

From a neighboring kingdom, Carolinistan, a dashing knight, Sir William of Talksalot, came to the rescue…

It's a mystery. ha ha ha.
A mystery I intend to solve

I love the IT Crowd. And that scene is awesome.

People get addicted to the caffeine. For some reason, the caffeine has no effect on me. If I happen to go a day without coffee, there is no withdrawal, no headache.

Same here. I can go without, and I don't notice anything from the caffeine ever. I love the flavor; that's why I drink it.

Sure.
Yes it is! lol, I hear ya.
Hehehe.

Same way with alcohol too; I've never even been tipsy, though I've been verrrrrrry careful whenever I've had alcohol, which is very seldom.

Sir William mounted his trusty steed, Mojo, and raced to Kentuckelot. The wind whipped through his long mane of hair. (William makes quite an attractive figure). After several days journey, William arrives at the Castle Baptiste, the home of Princess Sandy and her father, the king. After being bid welcome, and dining on stack cakes, and Kentuckelots famous delicacy, mountain oysters, William set off in search of the beast, Toro.

....So "Chewy" is making eyes at the guy baristas?!?!ha ha ha! Wow. I would like to point out that I said a guy who "bought" me coffee but I mean....hey if a barista wants a coffee crazy wife...:ahah:
But only the magical talking horse Mojo knows Toro's secret weakness: His love of the Owl Kingdoms princess.

[I couldn't resist, I'm sorry.]

You did say bought, you also said "good cup of coffee..." so at least you have some standards XP

After weeks of tracking the beast, William finally returns to the Castle for supplies. He is greeted at the drawbridge by the court jester, MehGuy and his pet rubber chicken. It is at this time that the Princess learns of Williams secret weapon. Claíomh dubh na hÉireann, The Black Sword of Ireland, which William will use against the dread Toro. The sword, forged in the White Temple of the Fairy Queen, Spauldia, can cleave a mighty oak with a single blow.

But unknown to William, Toro is aided by the Dark Lady of Mists, Queen Messy. She was the one who brought Toro out of the dark mists and embued his horns with the power to turn even the strongest steel into glass.
