Sorry, let's say I've read it. But that's the holy spirit guiding me for me, not you nor men. I've also read that if a woman can't proiduce a baby then the husband may find another woman that can. You're looking on the surface probably due to your ability but some can go deeper into the meaning of combined quotes. Those combined quotes would fill a whole page and not allowable on CF. So you're on your own to do your own homework or research if you have that ability only avaible to those that were regenerated before believing.

Sure I say so cause I read it somewhere. I read in a book. There is a book called the bible. This book is inspired by God. He is the author of this 66 book. You really need to return to the bible and flee from those that lie to you and mislead you. How can man produce faith first if he doesn't care like you don't care? You still don't seem to understand spiritual things of God.

Sorry, we don't speak new age cult positive thinking like you but we teach the truths by telling others that regeneration precedes faith based on:

- creates a clean heart (Psalm 51:10).
- appoints people to believe (Acts 13:48).
- works faith in the believer (John 6:28-29).
- chooses who is to be holy and blameless (Eph. 1:4).
- chooses us for salvation (2 Thess. 2:13-14).
- grants the act of believing (Phil. 1:29).
- grants repentance (2 Tim. 2:24-26).
- calls according to His purpose (2 Tim. 1:9).
- causes us to be born again (1 Pet. 1:3).
- predestines us to salvation (Rom. 8:29-30).
- predestines us to adoption (Eph. 1:5).
- predestines us according to His purpose (Eph. 1:11).
- makes us born again not by our will but by His will (John 1:12-13).

Couldn't have said it better myself. You need to get to know Jesus. Read the New Testament before getting in another conversation. In the name of Christianity, you can't keep talking like this to your brothers and sisters. This is not what Jesus taught us to do.

Jesus found me, I didn't find Him. It is God that does the saving according to his pleasure, not man's. It's not all about me it's all about Jesus. You must be regenerated first before you can know Jesus. Jesus doesn't save those not given to him by God. You'll need to reread this bible verses I just provided. Only those that are chosen will understand those verses.

What's the point in burning the unregenerates? If God didn't chose them, it must be for His Own good reason. I look at unregenerateds something that God did on purpose for another reason. I do not boss God around and tell Him what He ought to do. I have no free will and there's no way I can tell Him what He needs to do based on your feelings

hello im new here so please bare with me, so I'm in a panic and need help, I am/thought I was a born again Christian since 8 June 14, in this time Christ has turned my life upside down, so much so that my wife says I'm not the man she married and she know longer knows me, Before I knew Christ I used to take drugs, drink myself silly, swear all the time, I used to be full of hate and bitterness, I was addicted to pornography, all this hasbeen taken away from me by God I no longer struggle with any of these things however, I do struggle with lust for other woman, if I see a attractive woman in the street I sometimes can't help looking, even though I know it's wrong and the spirit convicted me, today I lusted after a lady I done a job for, she was pretty and my imagination went off on one, now I feel guilty towards God and guilty towards my wife, how can I say I love my wife then have eyes for another woman? Even though I know100% I wouldn't do the physical Jesus said if we lust over a woman in ourheart we have committed adultery!And the bible clearly says no sexual immoral or adulterous person will inherit the kingdom of God and Christ.

Where do you draw the line between lusting for a woman and just admiring a woman for her beauty. I think the difference is between staring and just glancing. I mean you cant just not look at a woman and pretend she doesnt exist. I dont think its a sin to see a woman and feel attracted to her. But I do think its a sin to stare at her body parts and thinking about having sex with her. God did create us to be attracted to the opposite sex. To deny this completely denies what God has instituted in us. How else would we even find a husband or wife if we didnt look at each other? I think the key is to just not think about sex while youre doing it. Im open to discussion on this. Thanks.

I mean you cant just not look at a woman and pretend she doesnt exist. I dont think its a sin to see a woman and feel attracted to her. I don't know that there is a 'rule' about reporting posters.
I my view it is better to let them remain and do our best to set a better example of proper etiquette and grace. However, gross rule breaking sometimes requires that children or pets to be banished for a short time, so maybe that is appropriate for posters as well. It worked when training my kids and my Border Collie.

Regeneration precedes faith. Faith is given to the newly regenerated elect person AS he hears the Gospel preached. Romans 10 makes it clear that God uses the preaching of the Gospel in the general call to all. But in that general call there is another call. That other call is Raye inward effectual call of the Spirit given only to the elect. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Only the sheep hear the voice of Christ. Romans 10:17; John 10:24-27. The reprobate do not believe because they are not His sheep.

Is hard to get involved in a conversation where someone attacks you and you defend yourself and at the same time they accuse you of starting the attack. In every case on my side when î say regeneration precedes faith, I get the blame cause they don't like the truth.

However, I will say that even when we are discussing doctrines, etc. using caps. when writing can be interpreted as yelling at the other person and that isn't polite conversation either.

By the way John Wesley was never a Calvinist and he was never a Pelegian or a Semi-Pelegian. Wesley never believed in predestination or irresistible grace but on other salvation doctrines he agreed very closely with Calvin. But that discussion is for a different thread.
