Yeah, pretty much. And perhaps I shouldn't complain too much given this was a support community I was fairly heavily involved with for two or three years, but they had this thing where you had to put everything in a positive manner or you'd either have your post deleted or half the forum members would gang up on you.

I mean, the intent was quite noble. It's just that the practice left something to be desired.

sounds like a place I wouldn't hang out.... reality is that there are times we are negative because sin out there gangs up on us and clobbers us.

I dunno...I liked the people there well enough, they were all fairly nice except when it came to my negative fits; it's just that they, as an institution, failed to meet my particular needs. Besides, their method of support is the "let's distract them with all of this and disregard their problems" method rather than the "let's sit down and talk their problems through" method, which one would assume is more effective.
