If holiness and repentance, and sanctification, and purity didn't matter, that would mean adultery, murder, drunkenness, sorcery, revelling, wrath, strife, lasciviousness, fornication, and uncleanness are all ok to perform as a believer because, hey, you accepted Christ sincerely and he will forgive you.

No! I cannot believe that. It's not ok: it's not excusable at all! If you're doing any of these things physically or in your mind, Repent! Examine yourself by the Word, or else the Word shall examine thee and shall judge thee!

Can a believer fall into any one or all of these sins? yes. David fell, and we know he repented when he was called out by Nathan the Prophet. Samson fell and at the very end came back, but at what a cost - his freedom, his eyes, and his life. But, Repent and turn. You cannot go on in these sins.

If you are not convicted of your sin with godly sorrow, you must "close with Christ" as George Whitefield preached, then abide in him as John 15 declares. Walk in the Spirit so you do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, for those who commit the lusts of the flesh, which are all the things I first mentioned, shall not inherit the kingdom of God, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6 and Galatians 5.

"Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure." -1 Timothy 5:17

"And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." - Luke 9:62

"But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." - Hebrews 10:39
Or, as Young's literal says, "and we are not of those drawing back to destruction, but of those believing to a preserving of soul."

And the 1599 Geneva has this to say concerning Hebrews 10:38-39, (This verse is well worth repeating 3 times in 3 powerful ways)
"(a) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any withdraw himself, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
But we are not they which withdraw ourselves unto perdition, but follow faith unto the conservation of the soul."

(a) He commendeth the excellency of a sure faith by the effect, because it is the only way to life, which sentence he setteth forth and amplifieth by setting the contrary against it.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. - Matthew 5:8
