Our Living "Amen!"

A few thoughts on John 2:23-25 (NIV-1984)
23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the
Passover Feast, many people saw the
miraculous signs he was doing and
believed in his name.

24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to
them, for he knew all men.

25 He did not need man's testimony
about man, for he knew what was in a
man.

Our petitions to the Lord, even before uttered, are stuck to the heart.
This is where God’s listening begins, where the soon-to-be said is witnessed
by Holy Spirit and starts rising as a message to our Mediator, Jesus the Christ,
unique Son of God. That which Spirit imparts to Jesus is no mere
human message. It is the measure of our zeal, intent, desire and need,
already known, but as far as our comprehension (lack of!), unexplored
by God. God, “wait” for our prayers? It is all received the moment
prayers are conceived within us, for we are living in
the Name of Jesus.
And what if a prayer does not get the benefit of lips?
It becomes like the baptism of desire,
as good as rendered from within.
