Unfortunately it seems that many USA people are poorly educated.
It's not all bad though
in a speech to supporters, Trump touted how many different demographic groups he won in Nevada, declaring that "We won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated," before exclaiming "I love the poorly educated!"
It just gets a bit awkward when the poorly educated go online and talk about academic things. They seem to prefer to talk and bestow their thoughts on things they are supremely ignorant of, rather than to do some research and educate themselves. They even like to argue with people that are educated in the topic at hand rather than to listen and learn.
I guess it takes a lot of effort to remain ignorant. It's fascinating process to watch.

A scientific theory is a well-established explanation of some aspect of the natural world. Theories come from scientific data and multiple experiments. While it is not possible to prove a theory, a single contrary result using the scientific method can disprove it. In other words, a theory is testable and falsifiable.
