Hopefully coming to where settling at will work

Others also expressed hope, to some extent. There were small creatures seen, the beavers were the only big creatures yet noticed, and seeds and small fruits had been their food for several days, along with water that they heated for their use, as they had gone along the fast flowing creek they had found the other day. Trees they had found in that time were not bearing fruit they could eat, what they had were from shrubs and brambles.

The group continued along the fast flowing creek with it always on their right side, as they never crossed it, and the forest line always further on beyond the creek, at varying distances as they went on.

After going much further, they saw what they were sure were sheep living wild a great distance away. Deseradar said, "This is a good sign. We are near to an area that would support us having a settlement there. We do well to keep going, that we will find that place as we were meant to do."

Here the creek was flowing faster, yet none could know if they were on the side of it where they could find the right area for them, and it would be more difficult to cross than further back. The great forest with mostly pines was further away on that other side. They rounded a small hilly rise, and as they were a little nearer to the wild flock yet seen a great distance off, they saw a large grove of trees, a little way from the creek on the same side which they were going along.

Hillariah said, "That might be the site for us to make a settlement. See there are many shrubs around that area with more trees, and it is a wide flat area all around there."

Jecharon said, "And, we have seen no sign of other people anywhere around here."
