Meaning no offense to you Palehorse, but we adventist's love our labels... we cannot for the life of us get away from labeling something or someone.....lol....PaleHorse said:What branch of the Seventh-day Adventist church to you belong? If I have neglected to name your branch, please answer "other" and make a post informing us of your branch.

You think its connected to tracing tithe dollars? Okay okay I'm going.....HoneyDew said:Well, it simply might just be a part of our psyche. Ever had to fill out a form for employment or medical care? LOL
Anyhoo, you and I are off-topic. Answer the question or begone from this thread.
I think I am the Off-Topic Police today. Tee-hee.
Well, the questions you post are the very reasons I posted the poll - for there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what constitutes each branch. For instance, it is my understanding that historical Adventists tend to be much more conservative in their views - they obviously adhere to the same set of doctrines we all do but they do so in a more pious manner (if I may use that word). I could be wrong on this, that's why I'm asking.remnantrob said:What's a historical SDA?Is he/she one who has been with the church since it's inception?
Does a reformed SDA mean that one has reformed from another part of Christiandom? Thanks for responses in advance.

No offense taken, Stormy. I just want to know why there are different categories of Adventism. This gives us a chance to share ideas by first defining where we are coming from. If someone is Reformed (for example), I would be curious to know why.StormyOne said:Meaning no offense to you Palehorse, but we adventist's love our labels... we cannot for the life of us get away from labeling something or someone.....lol....
How often do we end up shutting the barn after the horse has bolted?PaleHorse said:I retract this poll and ask that the moderators delete it.
