Self defense is not murder. No wrongful death when you are attacked and defend yourself. Even if you shouldn't have followed the person.

Wrongful death is a civil not criminal charge. It has lower standards than murder.

Just because a person has to defend themselves doesn't mean necessarily they weren't showing a disregard for the safety of others or themselves through escalation of a situation that was best avoided.

Zimmerman is lucky that he didn't get charged with manslaughter or second degree murder. In most blue states, that's exactly what would have happened.

Zimmerman attacked Travon. He should have stayed in his vehicle as he was instructed to do by the police . Now he confronted a young man and got the short end of the stick. Travon defended himself from Zimmerman's attack on him. He did not attack Zimmerman.

How can someone believe this with all evidence to the contrary is beyond me. Was Zimmerman on the ground with Martin on top of him? Yes. Was Zimmerman being beaten by Martin? Yes. Did the physical evidence show that? Yes. Was there an eyewitness to that? Yes.

Did anyone see Zimmerman attack Martin? No. Was there any evidence that shows Zimmerman attacked Martin? No.

So, no Zimmerman did not attack Martin.

But Zimmerman was charged with Second Degree Murder and found not guilty.

I suppose the family could have Sued. You can sue for anything. I know of cases where a burglar sued for injuries during a break in and won.

Zimmerman stans are interesting folks, I think they are just telling on themselves.

EDIT: Zimmerman's lawyer is Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch... like I said, they tell on themselves.

He won his case because he argued self defense....didn't he?

Why was Zimmerman on the ground instead of in his vehicle?

Because Zimmerman is a stalker and cold blooded murderer. And wanted to kill. Florida has horrible laws. Zimmerman knew them and took advantage of them.

Nobody saw Martin attack Zimmerman, either. That Martin got on top only demonstrates that Martin was a better fighter, not who instigated the fight. If you want evidence of that process, come watch one of my jiu jitsu classes - dudes wind up on top of me all the time even when I start in a dominant position - because I'm a noob and suck at it.

The facts show that Zimmerman was under Martin and Martin was striking him. Ground and Pound. The witness said he believed it was Zimmerman calling for help. There is ZERO evidence that Zimmerman attacked Martin. All you have is that Zimmerman followed him and Martin didn't like it. In fact it sounds like the witness regarding Martin's statements on the phone was unreliable. So all you have is pure speculation with no evidence. Whereas there is NO speculation that Zimmerman was being assaulted by Martin. That is a FACT.

The altercation seemed to escalate, according to Good. The struggle moved to the cement pathway, and he said the person in dark clothing straddled the other man in "mixed martial arts position" he later described to police as a "ground and pound." He said he saw "arm movements going downward," though he couldn't be certain the person on top was striking the person on the bottom.

"The person you now know to be Trayvon Martin was on top, correct?" asked defense attorney Mark O'Mara. "He was the one raining blows down on George Zimmerman, correct?"

"That's what it looked like," Good answered.

It's time to let go of the fantasy. It's the same kind of fantasy that occurs in those that believe that the police shooting in St Louis was murder.

Yeah, that's great. Nothing in there indicates who initiated the fight. You don't just magically wake up in mount position raining punches (if you did, my fights would go a lot better); something has to precede it - a push, a struggle, a fall - something. When you say, "So, no Zimmerman did not attack Martin.", you're making things up. You don't know that. Zimmerman is the only person alive who witnessed the beginning of that fight. All we know is that Zimmerman pursued Martin, <something> happened, Martin wound up on top, and Zimmerman shot him.

Zimmerman is what I refer to as a "concealed carry cowboy" (IE: makes the rest of us concealed carry permit holders look bad)

Went against law enforcement's directive and pursued a person he had no business following (he's not a cop), escalated things when they didn't need to be, picked a fight, when he started losing the fight to a high school kid, pulled his gun and shot him.

He's one of those guys who would be a complete pussycat if he hadn't had a gun on him, and wouldn't have dared escalate things to a physical confrontation had he not been armed.

CCW permit rule of thumb: Don't get yourself in a situation with your gun, that you wouldn't be willing to get yourself into without your gun.

The police dispatcher told him to stay in his vehicle and not pursue Martin...when you get out of your vehicle at night, and start following someone and trying to detain them when you're not a LEO, you're escalating things to a physical confrontation.

I do a lot of night hiking, had some stranger (like Zimmerman) gotten out of his vehicle and started following me and trying to detain me in my own development, he'd have turned the corner to find me holding my Glock in one hand and my cell phone in the other, calling the police, and telling him to not make any sudden movements until police arrive to arrest him.

That's why these "neighborhood watch" programs are patently stupid...they empower "cowboys" to try to take the law into their own hands when they don't know what they're doing, and more often than not, make situations worse.

What happened was Martin got tired of Zimmerman following him. They had some words. He then grabbed Zimmerman z because he's bigger and got him on the ground and started pounding on him.

Nothing here indicates anything different. In fact Zimmerman's story is supported by his injuries and the witness. To assume otherwise is pure fantasy.

I'm for defending the Constitution and the rights outlined therein. Just like like I'm for defending your right to free speech no matter what kind of mistaken silly argument it may espouse.

It's too late to get hip to racial psyops. Half of the time would be spent examining if it is possible to people, the rest of the time will be examining how it happened, and why it happened for so long.

That is why it works, because the entities that exploit us know our painfully simple mentalities - they created them for us.

What is happening to America is inevitability. The hammer is too heavy to stop; it's already falling down.
