Israel does not dwell without walls before the time of the great tribulation. But -she will after Armageddon. After the mount of Olives has already split.

Ezekiel 38:8
"...they shall dwell safely..."
It says - "brought forth out of the nations"

v11 mentions "unwalled villages"

After Armageddon comes Christ's millennial reign, not Ezekiel 38. Ezekiel 38 does not happen after Armageddon!

Ezekiel 38 is a prophecy about the invasion of Israel when she is in peace and safety. This happens after the coming peace treaty and she will be at peace till the middle of the tribulation when the invasion begins leading to the AoD.

Look at what John saw as to the 24 seated elders just after that in the the chapter. They are co-rulers over the world. They are what Paul referred to as - the elect angels-and we are charged before them.
Paul showed that they will not judge us at the return of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11 has an announcement in heaven as to when the elders -elect angels - give up their power as rulers. The seats become vacant. The OT shows that He is coming back as exalted alone. When He is seen on the right hand of the Father...there will not be angels sitting as co-rulers around the throne. There will be no doubt who is the Son of God.
The wicked will hide in the rocks for fear of Him and His glory -according to Isaiah. John saw this happen in the end of the 6th seal time.

the seventh angel sounded/so no way yet have the wrath of God vials been poured
His wrath is only just now starting

there is an announcement

the 24 elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell
/as in no longer on their seats

It is now time for the resurrection of the just - as it is time to reward the saints.
judge the dead
reward the saints
bring wrath on the earth upon the ones that are destroying it
/the vials will later start

the temple of God -opens in heaven
John sees the ark - as in time for mercy
the mercy seat -would be on the ark

then goes out a part to show that another set of punishments will soon begin
lightnings....voices...thunderings....great hail

the great hail - is how the set of plagues will end
God will be angry -His wrath is come....and it ends with great hail.
The set of plagues must be next, so take the last part of Rev. 11 and read the first part of Rev. 16 for what will happen in the scene.

I don't even disagree with most of what you submitted here. Some of what you submitted here, you totally lost me on, mainly the parts having to do with the 24 seated elders. The rest of your post though, I tend to agree with for the most part, yet we are still not on the same page about how the 7th trumpet leads to the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:9 though.

They died - at least some did, during the great tumult mentioned earlier. This is the first Gog war. Ezekiel told how he comes after Israel is brought back from the sword - and dwells safely.

dwelling safely is not the same thing as when the Lord has made the new earth later

copyChkboxOff.gif
Eze 38:11 - And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

This is not the time of the new earth, but a battle that will occur after Armageddon has ended and Israel has rebuilt in her land. It is lifted up - not a city that comes down to the earth. The survivors of the battle from the nations must come to Jerusalem to worship God and keep the feast of tabernacles. This is while Satan is bound in the pit. He is not bound immediately after Armageddon. He is loosed, gathers the nations, then occurs the final Gog war, then later, the day and hour not known to men when heaven and earth will pass away.

Assuming the thousand years take place after the 2nd coming, I don't see Ezekiel 38 having to do with a time after the 2nd coming, though in the past, for numerous years I did.

Using the Septuagint, it can be seen that the Jerusalem of Zechariah 14:11 is the New Jerusalem.

Zechariah 14:11 (Septuagint) they shall dwell in the city; and there shall be no more any curse, and Jerusalem shall dwell securely.

Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him
I actually found 2 bible versions that render it like the Greek:

Douay-Rheims Bible
And people shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more an anathema<H2764>: but Jerusalem shall sit secure.
Jubilee Bible 2000
And men shall dwell in it, and it shall never be anathema<H2764> again; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

==================================
I found this informative:

ANATHEMA
As far as the word "utterly destroy" goes, it is the Hebrew word #H2763/2764
2764 cherem khay'-rem or (Zecheriah 14:11) cherem {kheh'-rem}; from 2763; physical (as shutting in) a net (either literally or figuratively); usually a doomed object; devoted (thing),abstr. extermination:--(ac-)curse(-d, -d thing), dedicated thing, things which should have been utterly destroyed, (appointed to) utter destruction, net
======================================
Some places in the NT where it is used, including Revelation

Luke actually uses a form of that concerning the 70ad Temple discourse. Interesting

334. anathema an-ath'-ay-mah from 394
(like 331, but in a good sense); a votive offering:--gift.

Luke 21:5
And certain-ones saying about the Temple, that to stones, goodly and to devoted-things/ana-qhmasin <334> it has been adorned/kekosmhtai <2885> (5769). He said,.........

Acts 23:14
Who-any toward coming to the Chief-priests and to the Elders say
"to-anathema/anaqemati <331> We anathematize/aneqematisamen <332> (5656) ourselves of no yet nothing to taste till of which we may be killing Paul.

Galatians 2:
12 For prior to the coming of certain men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision.
13 The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.

Phl 3:2
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the circumcision!

Are the dogs mentioned in Revelation 22:15 the OC circumcision Jews?

Revelation 22:
3 and every anathema/kat-anaqema <2652> not shall be still.
And the throne of the God and of the Lamb-kin in Her shall be, and His bond-servants shall be offering divine-service to Him.

15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie
