CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Went to work, went shopping for my adopted BIL's daughter's birthday party -- she turned 3 today and it was the first time I met her -- I guess she is sort of my neice?

Today, I made a pancake breakfast for my husband and I, chicken with salad and fruit cocktail for lunch, cleaned the kitchen, got groceries, and did my expense reports for work.

Today I went to mass at 8 am. Came home woke everybody else up than headed out for errands. I spent the bulk of today reading and ended up finishing 3 books. I also helped my stepson with his homework.

had to go to the dr's....
that was a waste o' time....but maybe i speak-eth too fast....gotta have some blood work done, the general stuff fer cholesteral, etc...me blood pressure is fine and my weight is a little lower than i anticipated...
i celebrated leavin' dat place by gettin' some Baskin Robbins choc'late ice cream hahahaaaa.....dr's offices depress me..blah!
so i gots some ice cream, so there!
