My middle has no special meaning as far as I know... My parents picked it because it starts with an L. my siblings and I all have the same initials. Actually a lot of people sometimes confuse my middle name with my brothers middle name. My middle name is Lynae and his is Lynn. But with 6 kids, what do you expect? Even our parents get confuzzled.

My middle name is Meta (pronounced May-ta)~ my mom's family is German and Meta was the name of my mom's grandmother...I'm the only one to carry it. Back when she was born in Germany boys were preferred, so her mom named her after the woman she hated most in town. It means Pearl which also happens to be my dad's mom's name, so in a way I'm named after both sides of the family. I'll probably find a way to pass it on to one of my kids.
