All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
(This keeps me grounded, and reminds me even though I think I am doing right by God, even my best is still filthy rags)
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men sahll utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
How can you just pick one verse ? I pick the whole Holy Bible.
One must be like a Child in Heart, for a Child does not fear what happens, A Child cares for it's Parents just like Christians care for their Parents which is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
And I'll list some verses.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Matthew 10 Whoever ackowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in Heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in Heaven.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these there are one.
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles ? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruits is hewn down, and cast into the Fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name ? And in thy name have cast out devils ? And in thy name done many wonderful works ? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
He became like me, in order that I might receive Him.
He was reconed like myself, in order that I might put Him on.
And I trembled not when I saw Him: because He was gracious to me.
Like my nature He became that I might learn Him and like my form that I might not turn back from Him.
