Age before beauty
KeilCoppes said:Trust me, 36 isn't old (at least I don't think so)! What does makes you wonder is posting in a forum that lists 'singles in the _later_ stages of their lives' - get me a banana peel to stand on as I hobble by!
It's just that this culture is severely youth driven. :^)
That's a good mistake and a blessing beyond what many people receive. One of the girls I grew up with married an unbeliever and an irresponsible one at that. When I saw her eight years ago she looked like she had been through the war and all her youth had been stripped away, both inside and outside - she was worn and beaten.Laurel Crowned said:KeilCoppes!
So true! I had a woman mistake me for 25 this morning. She said I look so young and have such smooth skin. Age is a reality... but it's also an attitude. I know some really young grandparents and some really old kids.
I'm personally praying for a Christ-driven culture.
So maybe I won't need to trade you in afterall?Laurel Crowned said:KeilCoppes!

Everyone thinks I'm older when they look at me... those must be the days I didn't shave ?
KeilCoppes said:You know you're getting old when you remember paying extra money to get the computer with the big 32K memory and not only were there no laptops, but getting a graphics card was a big deal...
(even the 186's were blazing fast) :^)hischildsindik said:To go with this...
You know you're getting old when 386's were HOT and FAST computers and you had to buy your math co-processor separately.
