    Gerhard:

The voice that I hear in your book is the voice of the dragon. Satan certainly does hate the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus. Your book is evidence that Revelation 12:17 is being fulfilled right before our eyes. Jesus is coming soon. By the way, the e-mail that is attached to your message about not meeting in churches was not sent by me, it is a spoof sent by someone else.

    Pastor Bohr

    GE:

    Dear Pastor Bohr,

I am grateful that you have answered me. I ask you in the Name of Jesus, to think about what you have answered me, and will have to answer for in the judgment to God. At least you will be able to tell the Lord, I answered that man. It will be to your credit. And in my eyes, it says something good about your character. Few people have the decency to even answer.

I have received another post that says I am blaspheming. Do you think one who believes Jesus Christ his Lord and Saviour will easily blaspheme or speak for the dragon who is satan? Are you naming me, this sinner of sinner but saved by the Lamb of God, satan? If you are a Christian, dear Pastor, I ask you NOT to apologise; I only ask you to consider the reason you are calling me a blaspheming devil. Even that is not so bad; what is bad, is that you actually are telling Jesus Christ He is not a Saviour, because He could not have saved me, if I were the 'voice of the dragon' and 'hater' of God's Commandment and Testimony of Jesus.

Then, allow and accept, in the Name of Christ our Lord, my protest to your telling me I do not believe the holiness, goodness, and perfection of the Law of God but in fact deny it and share hate for it with satan. Paul said what you accuse another of, you are yourself guilty of. But I won't judge you like Paul might have, because I trust your motive and sincerity and zeal for Jesus' sake. I only hope it will dawn to your conscience the seriousness of the matter I have addressed in my book.

Therefore I defend, and challenge you to show what I said, against the Law of God indeed the Testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 14:12! Now if you are going to answer me, I wrote against Mrs E.G. White and against what she wrote, I would not deem it an answer at all. For that is exactly what I wrote for: To show Mrs White or her writings are not what John called 'The Spirit of Prophecy', or to equate her with it. For the Word of God -- which is BOTH the Law of God AND the Spirit of Prophecy -- is from Christ, and is, Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

This is not so treated upon in my book; but this my book does come down to, because I SIMPLY test Mrs White and what she wrote, against the Written Word of God.

And there I do not hesitate to call on God as my witness, I not (knowingly) made a single statement that I not fully have substantiated with Scripture. If you find any one or more, it is your duty as a disciple of Jesus Christ to bring it under my attention, so that I may pray for forgiveness for having done so, and to men, may apologise, and try to make amends.

Until you have shown me - and do not use the excuse of a Cain - I stand with what I have written, and that it does in fact amount to an accusation against Mrs E.G. White and the Seventh Day Adventist Church, that they believe and teach The Great Lie that consists of nothing but lies. I show you multiple of those lies in my book. PROVE ME THE LIAR, In the Name of Christ, and to the welfare of your own, and my, souls, dear Pastor Bohr. And I pray the Lord's blessing to you in your effort.

I with neither this post nor with my book have written one vain word, Christ is my Judge.

    Pastor Bohr

    Gerhard:

It is not I that has indicted you for what you teach but rather the Word of God that you so zealously claim to follow. Your teachings clearly contradict the testimony of Revelation 12:17. By teaching that Sunday replaces the Sabbath and by your attacks against Ellen White, you are actually fulfilling this verse. I perceive that you are bitter against the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Many of the accusations you launch against Ellen White can be answered by the Word of God but if I took the time to answer them you would probably come up with more. There are far more important things to do than to answer the accusations of those who do not wish to follow the truth. You might perceive that what I am saying is harsh but I say it in Christian love, anxious for the salvation of your soul. There are sincere souls who are hungering and thirsting for the truth. For me to take hours and hours to answer your accusations against Ellen White would detract from reaching out to these sincere souls.

I am putting you on my prayer list that God may open your eyes and remove the bitterness from your heart!

    Homesick for Heaven,

    Pastor Bohr

    GE:

    Dear Pastor Bohr,

I do not in the least teach "... that Sunday replaces the Sabbath ...". I 'teach' "There remaineth therefore a keeping of the Sabbath Day (“Seventh Day” in 4:4) for the People of God". Where did you see I teach Sunday in the Sabbath's stead? It is a FALSE accusation without ANY provocation from what I have written.

But, refer 'The Passion of Love' ('The Desire of the Ages'), 'Remnant Publications', p 97 par. 2, where Mrs White is the one who of Sunday proclaims with great acclamation: "What a day is THIS to the world!", and on p 98, last par, "The day that was a day of rejoicing to all heaven". I do not read such things said of the First Day in all the Bible; I do find such things said of the Seventh Day Sabbath throughout all the Scriptures. Who is propagating Sunday-worship here? You call this, 'testimonies' from God to his Holy Sabbath Day?

Then wait until you grasp the PLAIN Bible truth the Lord rose from the dead, not, 'On the First Day of the week', but, "On the Sabbath in Day's fullness, mid-afternoon before the First Day of the week" --- and how will you still be so great adherent of Mrs White's contrary 'witness'?

You answer me "by the Word of God" where I "launch accusations against Ellen White"; Don't merely say it can be answered, especially since you "say it in Christian love, anxious for the salvation of (my) soul" --- Do it! This excuse, " There are sincere souls who are hungering and thirsting for the truth. For me to take hours and hours to answer your accusations against Ellen White would detract from reaching out to these sincere souls", just don't go up. It in fact is a veiled denial of my sincerity.

But I know in what condition you are, I was in it myself. Seventh Day Adventism has made a doctrine about it, namely, about our 'Laodicean state' of self satisfied lukewarm-ness. But the moment you are confronted with a real challenge to answer for your faith, you get struck dumb like lame. I have found it hundreds of times; in fact, times without exception. I have been PLEADING Seventh Day Adventists to confront me with Scripture and common sense. We have gone on camps together for the purpose, and they talked and talked all the beautiful African night's silence through never having said a word of things about the Scriptures. Such situations presented itself countless times. And the moment you dare hint in the direction of testing 'truth' by the Scriptures, you're brandished (or branded) heretical disturber of the peace.

Have you not now exactly like that responded to my invitation to a sober discussion of the right or wrong of what I have written against Mrs E.G. White? Or is yours just another show of Seventh Day Adventist hypocrisy?

    I have a <problem> with respondents like you ...<overcomer>???

    ...my!

Nothing has changed, is clear... clear as crystal... after so many years there hopefully would come change. But instead, harder and harder fossilization... God be merciful

How many more exceptionally beautiful, pure, intelligent, bright, virtuous, talented, God fearing young sons and daughters of my people, are the Seventh-day Adventists going to enslave and keep in bondage in their mental and spiritual Guatemalan institutionalism?

As we get closer to the second coming of Jesus, attacks will get more vile and arrive in greater quantities against the SDA religion as it is the only church proclaiming the three angels message, which satan hates.

    Matthew 5:12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Notice in the OP that he sent Pastor Bohr a book that he penned then challenged him about the lies he claims are facts in the book.

Now he posts the correspondence on this forum and I suspect it will appear on other forums soon to gather assurance from others that he is right and that SDA are not.

God is our judge and he is in the process of judging every human that has ever lived to see if they are fit for Heaven.

Ask yourself what is the purpose of the book that he penned, is it uplifting Christ? (I have not nor will I read his book)

How right I was. Another proof!

Young people, find out, in every case like the above two witnesses, the age of the individual. Old! finished, caput! Yet acting dictator, judge and executioner.

Please, do not grow like most people do --old, passionless, loveless, ugly, walking talking dead. In Christ Jesus the child of God, every day dying to self, "by the Power of His Resurrection", “grows…”, younger “…with the growth of God!”

Isaiah 9:2. "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them, hath the Light shined" -- the Great Light of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ("on the Sabbath").

"But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:23.

You come here and cut-and-paste a correspondance with a third person. What's your point other than promoting your own agenda? Is Bohr here to defend himself in this post?

I would kindly advise you to not enter into any dialogue with Gerhard E.

I was part of another online forum in which GE has posted for years. The only fruit borne which I saw was that of endless dialogue and pointless discussion, dragging on and on for days, weeks, and months. Brother Bohr was wise in his response when he related that there are bigger priorities and more good to be done in this closing work, than 'reason' with one who believes he is 100% right in his own eyes and refuses to be moved.

It sounds like he wants to debate about a topic I am guessing the issue of sunday being changed to the new sabbath day even though it is not biblical.

WHAT LAW WAS NAILED TO THE CROSS? Colossians 2:14-17 Explained! & A Confutation of The Eternal Security Doctrine

Now there was also a book of the law. Let us search the scriptures and find out if this is true. In the book of Deuteronomy chapter 31 starting at verses 24-26 the Bible says:

“when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.”

Hold on a second! Notice three very interesting things:
    1) the book of the law was given by the handwriting of Moses;
    2) it was placed in the “side” of the ark, not inside the ark, but in the “side” of the ark;
    3) it also says in that Scripture that the book of the law was to be “a witness against” the people.
Sounds familiar? This is what we read in Colossians chapter 2 and verse 14, “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us”.
Now let us go further with this, because it also says here that it has ordinances. So we are looking for the law that contains ordinances. Does the ten commandments contain ordinances? or does the book of the law contain ordinances? Well, the book of the law does contain the feast days. We can see this in Leviticus chapter 23, where it talks about different feast days, like the Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, the Pentecost, the feast of trumpets, the feast of tabernacles, the day of atonement. Let's talk about passover and the ordinances that were connected to that one. In the book of second Chronicles chapter 35 starting at verse 6 it says:

“So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.”
The word of the Lord given by who? Given by Moses. In verses 11 through 12 of that same chapter it goes on to say:

“And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them. And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.”
    Listen closely to verse 13:

“And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance:”
Wait a second: the passover was contained where? In the book of Moses which is the book of the law, the one that was written by the hand of Moses. It also said that it contained ordinances, because the passover had ordinances contained in it. That's why they had to burn the passover lamb with fire because that was the ordinance. That's the way it was ordained to be done.

So, what was blotted out on the cross? It was the book of the law. But if you are not yet convinced, let us go to Colossians chapter 2 and verse 16 which says:

“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”
Now, we're looking for a law that contains meat, drink, holy days, new moons and sabbath days. Once again, it is the book of the law. In Leviticus chapter 23, verse 37, it talks of the feast days that were in the book of the law, these ceremonial laws. It said:

“These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:”
Notice that the feast days and the meat and the drink offerings, all these things were connected together, and the feast days were holy days.

But some might say, “What about sabbath days?” Alright, lets look at the sabbath days. Was not the day of atonement a sabbath day? The Bible tells us that the day of atonement was a ceremonial sabbath day. In the book of Leviticus chapter 16 starting at verse 29 and into verse 31, it says:

“And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you: For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD. It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you,”
So they were told clearly that the day of atonement was a ceremonial sabbath day. We are also told the same thing in the book of Leviticus chapter 23. Also in Leviticus chapter 23 verses 23 and 24 we are told that the feast of trumpets was a ceremonial sabbath day:

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.”
So the feast of trumpets, which was the day they blew their trumpets, was a ceremonial sabbath day. It was also connected to the new moon, because in Psalms chapter 81 and verse 3 it says:

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.”
So here we have a feast day, which was a new moon, and also a ceremonial sabbath day. That is what we are talking about in Colossians chapter 2 starting at verse 16 when it tells you, “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy-day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:” We are talking about the ceremonial ordinances contained within the book of the law. In second Chronicles chapter 8 verses 12 and 13 it says, “Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD... according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts....” We are talking about the ceremonial ordinances according to the commandment of Moses and contained within the book of the law. This is what was blotted out at the cross.

Let us finish this part of our study by looking at Colossians chapter 2 starting at verse 17:

“Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
Now a question: Which law was a shadow of things to come? Let's find out in Hebrews chapter 10 starting at verse 1:

“For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.”
Question: Which one of the laws — either the ten commandments, or the book of the law — contained continual sacrifices offered year by year? Because if we can answer this question accurately, then we can find out which law was a shadow of things to come, but not the very image of those things which was Christ. That's right, the book of the law. The book of the law was the one that contained continual sacrifices. Those ordinances in the book of the law foreshadowed the very coming, life, death and ministry of Jesus Christ. But when Jesus Christ came, lived, died and ministered unto us, he exemplified everything that was contained within the ceremonial law of the book of Moses, the book of the law. That is what was blotted out at the cross. Those ceremonial laws contained within the book of the law. Not the ten commandments.

The ten commandments can never be done away with. They are everlasting. They are eternal. And we can prove it. In the book of Psalms chapter 119 verse 142 it says:

I am not sure what your point was in all of that. Leviticus ties ALL of the various holy days together - starting with the weekly Sabbath.

Does the 4th commandment differentiate between the annual Sabbaths and the weekly Sabbath? No.

I disagree with your point of view. The Seventh Day Sabbath was given at the end of the creation week, the others were tied to the ceremonial laws (feast Sabbaths, ect) of the sanctuary which all pointed forward to Christ. These were written down by Moses and were placed in the side of the Ark unlike the Ten Commandments that were placed inside the Ark under the mercy seat which contain the weekly Sabbath Commandment.

You are not aware because you automatically think ONLY of the weekly Sabbath. But many of the feast days are also called "Sabbaths" in scripture. (most notably Lev 23)

The 4th commandment says "Sabbath" with no modifiers.
Can you be sure it is not also referencing the annual sabbaths as well?

I think "seventh day" in the 4th commandment is a "modifier. Annual and/or festival Sabbath days may have been important for Israel, but at the creation of the earth, the only described Sabbath day was the seventh day. And the creation week Sabbath was here from the beginning before there was even sin. In fact, all of the Ten commandments were there before they were repeated on Mt Sinai. You can find examples of people breaking nearly every one of the Ten commandments before they were given at Mt Sinai.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I was not aware the Lord blessed the annual sabbaths after he made heaven and earth...and rested the seventh day...and hallowed it.
