Well, if you read the signs a third world war does seem eminent. There maybe nothing we can do about it. There is too much gearing towards it. Jesus did say "these things must happen before man learns".
In my opinion the greed and lust for power is within ourselves. It maybe the overcoming of that that maybe our own salvation. World domination is a world controlled. Henry Kissenger once said, "If you control the oil, you control the nations. If you control the food, you control the people". Isn't that exactly what is going on today? The long time battle over the middle east that on the surface seems to be religion based but there is an underlying factor of the oil. Our own over sized controlling government that seems to put restrictions of our own drilling and prefers to pipe it in when we do have enough. Increased control of health care, food stamps, poverty etc. All leads me to believe that it is all for control. Our diminishing or continued attacks against our own civil rights. the right to bare arms, freedoms of speech and of religion, freedom of the press. The spread of fear, anger, hatred and resentment. All for the New world order? Possibly. A one world government, a one world religion is a one world controlled. Controlled by the fear of WW3.

The answer is nothing! You cannot survive it! In Richard L Miller's book "Under the Cloud". (which is a highly researched non-fiction novel describing the development, testing, effects of a atomic and nuclear detonation) He tells us that the blast is only a small portion of destruction.
The truth of the matter is, it is the more than 300 highly radioactive isotopes that are carried aloft into our atmosphere and drop as a greyish ash poisoning all life. It enters the soils, waters and kills all life.
In his book, he reports some of the findings of all of our early tests. This includes, Ranger, Trinity, baker, testing that was done in Nevada, Alaska, Bikini Islands.
An example that he listed of an early Nevada test was the radioactive isotopes were carried up into our upper atmosphere and dropped in Rye NY. It was discovered by the Polaroid factory. The Polaroid film was over exposing due to the radiation levels of the water located behind the factory.
In another example he spoke of a sheep herder in Utah that reported his sheep were covered in blisters, bleeding from every orifice before dying. Also attributed to the radio active fallout from a detonation in Nevada days before.
