Writings of the Early Church Fathers

Hello all,

Im looking to pick up a set of these books. (I know they are available online for free, but my eyes can't handle that much longer...) Anywho, since I don't have $400 to slap down for these books, does anyone know where I can pick them up one at a time? They have a few of them at the local used bookstore, but most of them are so torn up that they are useless, and they don't have the complete set. (Im gonna try to get 'em in order to make it easy on myself ) So I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get them one by one...

I've just been using The Faith of the Early Fathers, Willliam A. Jurgens (just the first volume).

Sorry I don't know where they could be found individually unless you were lucky and found something on ebay.

Bear in mind that that set is translated and edited by Protestants. If you want something a little cheaper, you might go for William Jurgens' The Faith of the Early Fathers, which has 3 volumes and is available in paperback.

Yes, I saw that pointed out on another site earlier... Hmm... I wonder what series the ones at the used bookstore were from. Anyone know of a (more complete) compilation of Early Church Fathers writings? Money isn't too much of a problem if I can buy them a few at a time. The 3 volume set looks decent... but 38 volumes usually don't fit in 3 books =\

You might want to check out Christian Book Distributors www.christianbooks.com They have a lot of good stuff, both Catholic and Protestant, and their prices are really good.
