The prophet Mike Rigby has translated Moroni's copy of Jared's brother's record, along with lots of other exciting records. http://absalom.com/mormon/rigby/

And the sealed portion has been translated more than twice. There's also James Strang's "books of the Law" and Christopher Warren's "Olive Branch."

Oh, did I mention the 116 pages that have been translated, and the Second book of commandments?

Sounds like latter-day craziness to me.

Now you know why I'm not putting any faith into it. If these records had any truth to them, the LDS church would be promoting them. Also, who said Mike Rigby was a prophet? He must be from one of those spinoffs of the real LDS church.

So if as you say, Jenda feels the same way about her church, is she being lied to, or is her Holy Ghost deceiving her? You both know the BOM is true through spiritual promptings, yet she isn't about to follow your prophet or call herself a mormon.

Of course my church is the real LDS church since we teach and practice what was truly restored in 1830.

That is why we are RLDS.

I have not talked with Mike for probably ten years. He has truely messed up his life. I think his father had a lot to do with it. Both now are divorced, on their own. He was a good friend at one time. Although I believe he thinks is a prophet, he is a publisher of these supposed records. We had some discussions about priesthood, and he at one time sent me some pamplets, but he was a sharp guy at one time. Last time we spoke he seemed muttled at times. I have tried to find a email address, but no luck. Never thought he would change like this. Sad.

One of the articles was written by Wayne Reeves. I have not had discussions with him for some time, but he was rebaptised into the LDS church.

I have known mike for about thirty years. I met him on my mission, he was my district leader in Long Eaton England. He came out with my senior companion. They were really close. When Mike went the way he did, My senior companion was pretty hurt. I tracted with him many hours. He lives about two hours away. I can not even remember why I ran onto him the last time. Anyway I have said to much.

She can have the same testimony regarding the Book of Mormon that I do. I'm not questioning her beliefs or her faith in those beliefs.
