Who else here loves watches?

They're one thing I thoroughly enjoy to collect and admire.

I just ordered a Grand Seiko and I am so excited for it to arrive.

I love them, if I could, I would build a vault, and fill it with them.

I would be wearing my Breitling Navimeter though, as soon as I get the Dough-Ray-Me to actually buy one.

I absolutely LOVE grandfather clocks. The tick-tocking makes any hall or lounge feel very homely and I love the chimes you get on the hour and every quarter. They also look very grand and prominent in any living space. If only I had the space to have one in my lounge!

My son bought me one of those fit bit type watches. I am not a watch fan, but I wore that one. My penmanship went out the window. One day I was in the drug store and I mentioned the problem to the cashier. He told me it could be my watch that was causing the problem. So, I stopped wearing the watch and gradually my penmanship corrected itself.

i have a mini wall clock that's like a mini grandfather clock that chimes. I love it for the same reasons.

It's actually relatively small by today's standards. Traditionally watches, even mens, were much smaller than what we see today and that watch is a 41mm case, which is about normal.

Most watches made today are 42-44mm with some even larger than that.

It is, of course, down to the wearer's preference and I have big wrists and hands so tend to gravitate towards larger watches as they're more proportional to myself, but 41mm is just about right, albeit in the smaller side for me.

I have the Navitimer 01. I love it. Be sure to find a good dealer and you will be blown away with the amount of bracelet and strap combinations there are with that model. I have it with a blue leather strap with white stitching.

It's a very large watch though. 46mm. Be careful it isn't too big on your wrist or it can look a bit gaudy
