I just started playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republik yesterday.. And now I've played for about 12 hours! (well, I think it's really quite a bit more, since I've loaded quite a lot, just to try different things...) I think it's the first time I've ever been kind of hooked on a game.. So unless you've got loads of time: Stay away from it, it's too good for you

Is the Star wars game new? I haven't really heard of it... Though i have been a fan of those games in the past (though some they make impossible to beat, that or they're just to easy). it was that way with me, with the game. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter I think i played for some 17 hours, most of the day and all night. it was awesome, though the jungle trek freaked me out; Mainly because it was 4:00am and I was a bit jumpy form all the coffee beans I consumed...

Great game. I beat it on the light side and getting no dark side points as a male. After the first of the year I'm going to play as a female on the dark side. There is supposed to be new download content then. It will be like a totally different game. For those who beat it on the light side will know why the gender changes, when I play the dark side. No SPOILERS for those who hasn't finished it yet. The time can add up quick when you take about every side mission.

I'm playing light side male now... But I really regret choosing scoundrel in the start! Should've chosen soldier..

I'm pretty sure I'll play it through again, following the dark path, once I finish it now...

How long did it take to finish it? I've used 19 hours or so, but I'm no where near done yet...

I was looking forward to getting this (it's out on Friday in the UK) but after playing Baldur's Gate and NWN, which I found slow and boring, I'm beginning to wonder.

Those of you who have played it, is it anything like BG or NWN or is it more like FF?
