I work with high school students with learning disabilities and I would like to interview a parent of a student with disabilities. It's strictly Q&A and is not for the school in which I work. It's for research only for my Master's Program at a Christian University. I would be very grateful for anyone who has some time to answer these questions and it would be discrete:
.How has NCLB (No Child Left Behind general education and special education reform) affected the relationship between parents and teachers?
.Have you been actively involved in your childs education throughout your childs school life? In what ways?
.What can schools do to involve more parents in the educational process?
.Do you know your rights as a parent with a special needs child?
.How would you as a parent build a reliable alliance with your teacher/school?
