If you have been given much more than others spiritually, much more will be required of you in a spiritual sense (to be saved, or get salvation)...

Not many of you should be (spiritual) teachers, for to whom much is given, much will be required of him/her (for your/their own salvation) for judgement will be heavier upon you...

So work out your own individual salvation, (with fear and trembling) and realize that many will not be required as much of them, than you, if you have been given much spiritually...

To others not given nearly as much, much less will be required of them (to be or get saved)...

Be careful not to stumble these little ones too much in the process either...

And by not stumbling little ones, determine how much they have been given, before requiring too much of them, or the same as you would require of yourself, who may have been given more, (is one of my other points)...

That's interesting and knowing who I am I believe much was given so I guess I better step it up a notch here. Nothing wrong with that for the Bible says to examine ourselves.

Yes die to our former self, and die to self in general, and be born again... But again, there is no one single requirement for everyone equally across the board...

Only God and that individual themselves can know if they have been given a lot, or much, in the way of spiritual matters, and if much is required of them (in that sense) or not...

And do not be expecting of those who were not given much... Do not require as much of them as you would of yourself, if you have been given more, and they, less...

For you will stumble them and you know what Jesus said about that...

But, being Born Again is when one is given a new heart by God through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus told Nicodemus, this is a work of the Holy Spirit, kind of like the wind, we have no control over it.

Everyone might be held to one or some single basic requirements like believing and a change of heart in their lives... Those are the basic requirements for everyone, who will or would be saved...

But, what is required "beyond that", (for each one individually to be saved) would depend on how much more or less you are given (beyond that) (spiritually speaking in this sense and context)...
