The peppers are dry before you pickle them.Isn't there liquid in pickled peppers?

Goes without saying. I try not to say it because it seems insulting.
You know, I quit using those words because I think they were used to replace certain profanity, also dagnabit. I might be wrong but I feel that way anyway.doggonit
Your elusive point is how can they use a peck measurement in that saying when they are referencing a wet not dry measurement. Does that make sense? A peck is a dry measurement but a pickled peck of peppers is wet, aye?If they are dry then no need to pickle them
I went to Subway today and had pickled jalapeno peppers on my sandwich. I had a coupon for a 6" but they made a 12" so I got extra for free.

I think your discovery should be pointed out to the powers that be.I can only guess that the pepper plant died and the peppers dried out but the person likes the pickling taste so re-constituted them in the pickling brine. I think the mystery has been solved. I'm going to coin a new word for this: Solvation.
I don''t get how you were blessed with an extra half of a sub?If they are dry then no need to pickle them

I like the breaded ones, I can actually eat them without burning up. You must have a strong stomach! They didn't read the coupon correctly.
