Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the phrase "Black Lives Matter" has taken on a life of its own, aside from the official organization. So, even though the phrase and logo have become almost ubiquitous, it doesn't mean everyone is also on board with all of the organization's stated positions.
For instance, I would agree with:
We acknowledge, respect, and celebrate differences and commonalities.
We work vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people.
On the other hand, I would disagree with:
We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.
I'm sorry, but y'all need to get your own baby-sitter.
