Asterix and Tintin comics have been set on fire in Canada for failing a woke purity test.


New political ideologies often veer towards extremes as adherents try to prove to each other who is the most devout. Woke believers, in particular, are caught in an intoxicating and competitive purity spiral, making them more belligerent and intolerant with every passing day.

An alarming story from Canada has recently emerged, showing that followers of this 21st-century cult have turned their attention to burning books. Two years ago, in south-western Ontario, the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence(Providence Catholic School Board), which brings together 30 schools, carried out a purge of its institutional libraries, removing and destroying nearly 5,000 books, 30 of which were burned in a ceremony. These books included Asterix and Tintin titles, because of their allegedly racist depictions of indigenous American people.

Judging from the cultural climate here in the erstwhile United States, once the woke cleansing really gets rolling, we're probably looking at something similar to the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution, the Great Purge in the Soviet Union under Stalin, or the Cultural Revolution in China under Mao Tse-tung.

We're already in the middle of a Maoist revolution in America. The woke movement is currently in the process of destroying the "four olds": old ideas, old culture, old habits, and old customs. This is why they're tearing down statues of the founding fathers (and because the founding fathers were White, and "Whiteness" is top on the woke list of things that have to be destroyed)-- they're looking to rewrite the history of the United States entirely so that it will no longer be the United States, but some communist toilet where the government is going to have complete control over everything you do, say, and think-- they'll institute a "social credit" system through social media and anyone who does not have a social media account and give the right political or cultural symbols about "diversity" and "inclusion" will not be allowed to rent a house, have a bank account, or even fly.

This is the reason why conservatives and Christians desperately need to fight back. Even if we're going to lose, we should not make it easy for them. We should make it as difficult, costly, and as painful as possible for them.

I was watching a super liberal show on TV and they were complaining about "wokeness". It's like a monster that got out of control and no one can put it back in the cage now.

Bill Maher? He seems to be the only liberal I know who is even remotely concerned about the woke movement and how it's destroying this country.

But wokeness is definitely something to be concerned with. The people that are behind it are all cultural Marxists-- they seek to tear down the "four olds" (old ideas, old culture, old habits, old customs) in order to rewrite the history of and redefine what it actually means to be an American.
