It is about time that someone reminded the msm that they have a job to investigate and provide the news, all of the news not just the news that reinforces their political bias. There was a time when reporting was considered a public trust. Stories were verified for factual content before they were released and they were presented fairly, that would be journalistic integrity. There was no journalistic integrity in asking the questions in the first place. It's not the WH press secretary's job to ask questions of reporters, in fact that is the diametric opposite of her job. Well done fudgeralist, another great article, simultaneously showing the moral bankruptcy of the white house and this rag publication I wouldn't line a parrot's cage with.

And then Fox news was formed, and the whole thing slid into the sewer.
That has to be on of the worst rationalizations I have seen, it defies logic even. They all lied so at best it is a matter of degree or significance. The reaping and sowing comment is out of place also. There was a time when presidents didn't lie on a daily basis and actually had the decency to show some embarrassment when their lies were exposed too. Enjoy reaping what you've sown.

Depends - aren't we supposed to consider if the reporters opened the floor to "nasty" questions? That seems to be the current standard of Donald's administration -

Joseph Goebbels had a great market share in Germany at 1940s. That hardly made his news very factual even though he was by all accounts very good at his job.
