Is there a connection between the denial of climate change and the impending divine termination of the earth as we know it for a new beginning that is foretold in the Bible? And is the denial of climate change speeding up God’s timetable for such termination? As to the last question, we don’t know if God’s timetable is affected by what man does, but we do know that God responds to sin by punishing the sinner. God, for instance, didn’t punish the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah as part of a long-range plan laid out in the Bible. Those cities initiated their own destruction and God responded accordingly. Perhaps punishing those on earth and terminating the earth itself may be two different things. Some things must be taken into consideration.

First of all, is it a sin by man to destroy the earth or portions thereof? What is a sin but to do that which is against what God considers to be good? Sin is evil. When God created life on earth, He says in Genesis 1:11-12, “And God said, ‘Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.’ And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD.” Further along, in Genesis 1:20-21, “And God said, ‘Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.’ So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD.” And Genesis 1:24-25 says, “And God said, ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.’ And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD.”

Since God saw that these things are good, would man not be sinning by causing the destruction of things such as vegetation and the animals of the land, sea and air, such that their kind wouldn’t exist in the future? And if so, does that change God’s timetable for earth’s destruction so that it comes sooner?

The Bible tells us that a new beginning will be made, but no one knows when except God and Lord Jesus. What we do know, from Matthew 24:3-8, is that there will be signs to come that can be perceived as a signal for the new beginning to come. Such signs are of war, famine and earthquakes. Granted we’ve always had these, but all these may converge across the earth in a perfect storm, on a grander scale never seen before.

The prophets in the Bible expressed God’s displeasure at the evils of man as regarding the earth. Jeremiah 2:7 lays out God’s displeasure at the destruction of that which he created, saying “... [I the Lord] brought you into a plentiful land to enjoy its fruits and its good things. But when you came in, you defiled my land and made my heritage an abomination.” Isaiah 24:5-6 says, “The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.”

Is it a stretch to believe that, for instance, the violation of our Covenant of God, which was clarified by Lord Jesus, would include man’s preventing the earth from allowing the various species to continue to exist as He wanted them to, in Genesis 1? Perhaps God intends to wait until man destroys himself by destroying the life on earth that would sustain him, before, as indicated in Revelation 6:14, the earth and the heavens as we know them get rolled up in a scroll, and as indicated in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, those who are left that are found to be righteous, will be swept up to meet the Lord.

The Bible says that God’s appearance to transform that which we know will be like a thief, but a thief has a timetable that depends on the opportune moment.

Is there a connection between 'climate cultism' and the impending appearance of anti-Christ (with world government, suppression of religious freedom, the growth of bogus religions, etc. etc.)

Imho this new environmentalism puts the planet on a pedestal, and makes the climate and pollution the most important priority, now, and in the near future.

Instead of following Christ, living for Him, and waiting for His Return.

God was a climate change denier. Since he created the earth, I'm going to go with his statement on this and not some false prophets who call themselves scientists.

Genesis 8:22
"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall never cease.”
