2. The Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27

Thats right. Man was made first Gen 1:26, than God made the Sabbath Gen2:1-3 Exo20:11 hence why the Sabbath was made for man because man came first. God wanted to bless Isa 56:2 and sanctify Eze 20:12 man through His power right away, because without it, we really are nothing. Isa66:17And not man for the sabbath![]()
We are not to keep Sabbath in its original stipulations, but we still are to meet as a body of believers and all the more as we see the Day approaching!Premises:
1. The Sabbath was a part of the Mosaic Law and of the Mosaic Law only.
2. The Law was only for Jews, since Moses till Christ.
3. Even the book of Genesis was a theological part of the Mosaic Law and is not literal (namely in its creation account).
If these premises are all true, we are not supposed to keep the Sabbath.

This was not me speaking most of what I quoted was God speaking directlyFunny how you manage to take a day where we are not supposed to do anything, to, if we don’t do it, we are condemned
I think this qualifies for straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel.
So Jesus was profaning the sabbath, when he allowed his disciples to pluck wheat, healed the sick? This was not me speaking most of what I quoted was God speaking directly I do not believing profaning one of God's commandments that He made holy and blessed is like straining a snap but believe as you wish.
Of course not, it was never a sin to eat on the Sabbath or do good by helping people in need on the Sabbath, You were the one who just said we aren't supposed to do anything on the Sabbath which is not supported in Scripture. So Jesus was profaning the sabbath, when he allowed his disciples to pluck wheat, healed the sick?

I was wondering the same thing about your point to be honest. You started it saying no man for the Sabbath and I showed you why and took that for not doing anything on the Sabbath, which is not what the Scripture states. Probably best we both move on, but wish you well.So what’s your point even? No one is saying we should do evil.

We rest from our works to keep the Sabbath day holy Exo20:8-11 why Jesus and the apostles were going to church Luke4:16 Acts18:4, reading the Bible Acts 13:44 Acts 15:21, praying Acts 16:13 and doing things to keep the Sabbath day holy, honoring God Isa58:13. We do not enter into the Sabbath, we keep the Sabbath day holy Exo20:8, its something man does Isa56:2 , we enter into Christ rests, through faith and obedience. Those who enter His rest also cease from their works Heb4:10 as God did, on the seventh day Heb4:4 Exo20:8-11On the Sabbath, we rest from our works. If we are in Christ, then we have entered the Sabbath…
Hebrews 4:9-11
The alternative would be to keep toiling to earn your salvation.

I am referring back to God's written and spoken Testimony of what is the Sabbath. If, by the seventh day, you mean the rest of your life, eternity in Christ, then yes.
I am referring back to God's written and spoken Testimony of what is the Sabbath.
Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God
And this never changed Heb4:4 because no one is above God to change His written and spoken Testimony. Exo31:18
Can you quote the Scripture please because I can assure you keeping God's commandments is what God wants us to do Exo20:6 John14:15 and how we are reconciled back according to one of the last Scriptures in the Bible before Jesus returns Rev22:14Right but in Revelation only those who are beheaded for Christ’s sake rest from their works so which way you gonna have it?
Excuse me… only the beheaded? You have an erroneous interpretationRight but in Revelation only those who are beheaded for Christ’s sake rest from their works so which way you gonna have it?

Yes because Christ is our headExcuse me… only the beheaded? You have an erroneous interpretation

Not one of these verses say not to keep the Sabbath commandment according to its original stipulation. In fact, neither of these verses mention the Sabbath at all.We are not to keep Sabbath in its original stipulations, but we still are to meet as a body of believers and all the more as we see the Day approaching!
Galatians 4:9-11
Romans 14:5
Yes, continues the way Jesus said it would beHebrews 10:24-25
