Do you think that's what Jesus would want to do, if He was here right now?

Teach Islam in a public school in America?
I imagine that Islam is already taught across America in public (feels odd saying that as public schools have different meanings here) schools.

Do you think that's what Muhammad would want to do, if He was here right now?

Teach Christianity in a public school in America?

What's your point?

See. I know the only opinion that's supposed to matter to you is Jesus - but unfortunately, we don't live on Planet You. There are many different religions and cultures in the United States.

If Jesus has an objection, he can come and voice it himself.

Indeed - assuming he actually cares about what the American school system does as much as our attention-addicted little darlings on this board make him out to.

That's not what I asked -- but it is what I expected -- (viz., no answer).

Simple YES or NO questions are too hard for you guys, aren't they?

AV, given your track record on answering questions you're in no position to complain when others go off on a tangent at yours. In any case, I'm sure Jesus would have said not to teach Islam. Not that anyone here really cares or not that it is relevant to anything here whatsoever.

Again, why should we care what you think Jesus would teach?
So you'll learn to respect my position?

I accpept 95% of 'your' science, and even hold science up to a Higher Standard than you guys do.

Do you accept 95% of 'my' theology, and hold the Bible up to an equally High Standard?

I'd say no, he'd be fine with comparing the stances at least - Jesus strikes me as a lot less insecure than most fundies and creationists.

With all due respect, why do you think anyone here ought to respect your position? You ground it in nothing more than extreme confidence (faith) that it is true and reject any application of evidence and reason that undermines your position. In fact, you berate the very idea of empiricism and rationalism and attempt to propel your faith in the perfection of the Bible as something to be proud of.

I accpept 95% of 'your' science, and even hold science up to a Higher Standard than you guys do.
You accept science only when it doesn't contradict the Bible. You even admit this.

Do you accept 95% of 'my' theology, and hold the Bible up to an equally High Standard?
I only accept what is evidenced and/or reasoned sufficiently towards. We accept your conviction but see no reason to accept any of your theology as true.

You guys don't need to try to catch up so fast though.
In any case, I'm sure Jesus would have said not to teach Islam.
Is that what I asked -- or is my question too far faded now?
Not that anyone here really cares or not that it is relevant to anything here whatsoever.
Of course not -- nothing ever is relevant, is it?
