Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God in Heaven.
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. Mark 16:19
He will remain there until the restoration of all things -
20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:20-21
31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. Matthew 25:31-32
Jesus Christ literally returns to Jerusalem to rule and judge from His Throne, not His Father's Throne, which is in Heaven.
34 And Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Luke 20:34-36
The age to come will occur when Jesus returns with His saints and He will resurrect all those who are His at the end of this age, on the last Day.
We will receive bodies that will never die, and we will shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father.
41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Matthew 13:41-43
When Jesus returns every eye will see Him, and they will mourn!
All the tribes of the earth will mourn, FOR THEY WILL SEE HIM COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY.
ANYONE WHO TEACHES THAT THE RESURRECTION IS PAST IS TEACHING HERESY!
THOSE WHO PRACTICE FALSE DOCTRINE AND HERESY will not inherit the kingdom of God.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
Jesus Christ will return at the end of the age and Gather His people at the resurrection!

The Scriptures not only do not promise an earthly reign, they teach that Christ will not reign on the earth. Consider the following:.......................
The Jews could not answer because they did not understand the true nature of the kingdom. Yet Peter explained its meaning on Pentecost (30 A.D.) when he said that Jesus was raised from the dead to sit on David's throne at the right hand of God where He rules as Lord and Christ (Acts 2:29-36). David, Jesus and Peter understood that the reign of Christ would be in heaven at God's right hand.
Since Jesus is to reign at the right hand of God till the end (1 Cor.15:24-26), there can be no earthly reign of Christ!
Who here has implied otherwise? And I thought that it was the Holy Spirit that was sent at Pentecost..

Regardless of what you write here.. didn't you write in the past that you believe in the second coming of Christ as yet future?
So why did you change your mind?
It's almost as if you were being dishonest or something?
Read John 7:39
The Day of Pentecost is Christ's coronation in Heaven.
Christ ascended to Heaven to the throne 10 days before Pentecost.
Can you show me in the Bible where it says that Christ is crowned on the day of Pentecost?
thank you in advance
John 7:39 + Acts 2:33 + Ephesians 4:8-10
BTW, I am not an NIV reader but I do love how the NIV translates Eph. 4:10!
So I guess for 10 days, Christ was just in Heaven, but hadnt been crowned, would you agree?
No worries on the NIV, I use many translations as long as they fit the greek
No Holy Spirit until after Christ was glorified first. Then the power of the Kingdom of God was manifest as promised in Matt. 16:28, Mark 9:1, & Luke 24:49!
The apostles truly did not taste death before they seen Christ's kingdom come with power!
How about asking the premillennialist and dispensationalist what Jesus has been doing in Heaven for the last nearly 2,000 years? Is He crowned yet? Is He honoured yet? Is He glorified yet? Is He exalted yet?
Here is how the NIV renders that verse:
He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)

Notice it shows Him standing, not sitting. Why did Jesus tell them they wouldnt taste death until after they saw him coming with his kingdom?
Mat 16:28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."
Could this be a reference to what Stephen saw?
Act 7:55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;
Act 7:56 and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

For me personally, Jesus reigns supreme NOW!
but then you added that the saints come. That is not in scripture.
Jude 1 / And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all.
Hi JLB,
Some good truths there - Jesus at the right hand of the Father, the times of restoration of all things, the scripture telling us that the angels will come with the Lord to deliver Israel and bring judgment upon the rebellious,....but then you added that the saints come. That is not in scripture.

Book of Enoch is an interesting read.Jude 1 / And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all.
If anything, the musical score played in this vid is awesome...........Not "most" of them like this says, I'd wager...
