The age to come will occur when Jesus returns with His saints and He will resurrect all those who are His at the end of this age, on the last Day.


We will receive bodies that will never die, and we will shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father.

41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. When Jesus returns every eye will see Him, and they will mourn!

When Israel asked for a king instead of God reigning as their king, it angered God. It was a form of apostacy. The Jewish kings eventually fell into apostacy and paganism as a direct result. Israel was even punished for requesting an earthly king in 1 Samuel 12:17 and it eventually led to the Babylonian Captivity which saw the final King to sit upon the throne of David in Jerusalem (King Jeconiah).

God has set His Son on the throne in heaven because the throne in Jerusalem has been extinct since King Jeconiah who was cursed that none of his descendents may sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem or it will fail.

The throne of David will only fail in Jerusalem... but not in heaven which was its proper place to begin with.

The Throne of David in Jerusalem has been extinct for about 2,611 years.

So if there is no throne in Jerusalem, is the Throne of David extinct to you, JLB?

David, Jesus and Peter understood that the reign of Christ would be in heaven at God's right hand.

Jesus had to be glorified, exalted, crowned, and honoured before His kingdom came with power. Pentecost was Christ's coronation then the power of His kingdom that is the Holy Spirit was shed forth.

Some good truths there - Jesus at the right hand of the Father, the times of restoration of all things, the scripture telling us that the angels will come with the Lord to deliver Israel and bring judgment upon the rebellious,....but then you added that the saints come. That is not in scripture.

We all know from scripture that the Lord Jesus is at the Father`s right hand on the Father`s throne. Jesus ascended, was glorified and exalted to the Father`s Throne - deity. And we read -

`The Father of glory.... seated Him, (Jesus) at His right hand in the heavenly places far above all principalities and might and dominion, and every name that is named, nor only in this age, but also in that with is to come. And He put all things under His feet...` (Eph. 1: 20 - 22)

Then at the time of the restoration of all things, the Father sends Jesus for the Body of Christ and together they will rule and reign in the third heaven. It is from there that Jesus will have His own throne, (Rev. 3: 21) and He will be the visible ruler. This is His seat of power and authority under God the Father, and He will rule from there throughout God`s great kingdom in every realm.

The Lord Jesus Christ`s authority will be over the earth but His seat of power & authority does not originate from there. `Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool.` (Isa. 66: 1)

The matter of power and authority and where the Lord`s throne is becomes clearer when we realise that the word `throne` means authority. Thus His seat of power & authority, His own throne is in the highest heaven, while the other realms have His throne, meaning His power & authority.

Yes He does in our lives, how ever not all the rebellious have been brought to His footstool.

`The Lord (Father) said to my Lord, (Jesus), "Sit at my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool.` (Ps.110: 1)

And then we will see the Lord Jesus beginning to rule over His enemies.

Enoch. The prophecy of the 10 weeks
