Why is society splitting up over covid?

I wish that I had the answer to your question. Sadly, the past 21 months have been one of the saddest chapters in my life and I say that in a general sense, not in any personal way. This pandemic should have brought us together, but rather it split us apart.

As for the shots, I got the J and J and and I was very lucky, no real side effects to the one shot or to the booster. My parents also had no side effects and they got Moderna's two shots, but no booster yet. My sister got Pfizer and ended up with a cold for 6-7 days. When she got the booster , she felt a little chilled for just 2-3 days. My brother is in constant pain and has been for maybe 6 years, due to a warped spine. The pain got worse for two days after his shots, but that is all for him. My own personal view is that the shots are probably worth the risk of coming down with the virus, unless someone is allergic to some of the ingredients.

I have pondered on this issue and wrote the following to my friends.

Dear Friends,

I have taken some time to lay out my position with reasons.

I refer to key scriptures that I take seriously and focus my remaining time on earth accordingly.

I conclude there is a choice – to be responding to what the world does, or to respond to what Jesus wants to do in the world.

A good example of this is recorded in Acts 4

In verse 17 freedom of speech is made illegal. (this would be read by many today, as a sign of being in the end times)

However the early believers did not protest or leave the district or start to operate underground.

27 summarizes the threats in their prayer but most importantly they saw these threats were not against them but against Jesus Himself.

28 signifies total trust in God being in control and no fear of what man (or the Govt.) might be planning.

29 they hold ground and trust God to act.

32 they looked after each-other.

33 they continued to demonstrate the resurrection power of Christ in the Spirit.


However Jesus had taught them to render unto Caesar what was Caesar's - so they would not cease to pay taxes or meet civil requirements.

Peter also stresses this in 1 Pet 2:13-15

Was the Government of the time corrupt ? Sure was, but Jesus even befriended the tax collectors.

What this means is that pietistic withdrawal has no place in our service to Jesus and nor does rebelling against civil law.

All this was happening when the early believers were expecting Jesus second coming to occur during their lifetime.

However according to Jesus the game only changes when important conditions are met.

Matt 24 records Jesus teaching on this concerning events prior to His second coming.

Verse 9 has not yet happened.

Verse 14 is not complete.

Verse 15 is Key... a single human individual demanding he be worshiped by all inhabitants on earth and holding the power to regulate all trade on earth.... This clearly has not happened.

Only then does Jesus indicate a time to flee and not stand in verse 16. In the meantime it is business as usual – and there is no panic or place for fear.



So what we see happening today does not qualify although various rulers throughout history have had the smell of the AOD but not all the conditions outlined in Matt 24 by Jesus were met.


There is no doubt that there is a spirit of fear associated with conspiracies.

Isaiah 8:12 clearly teaches not to believe or be in fear of conspiracies, otherwise He will no longer be our sanctuary.

It is a choice to fear God or fear what others perceive is going on in the world.

So why has Covid become so divisive?

Yes there is corruption at all levels of human endeavor but this should not threaten our peace.

God is ultimately in control – He will not stand back and see His faithful wiped out by any means.

He is our sanctuary if we do not fear.

He will also guide the steps of those who seek Him even to keep them safe from coming in contact with life threatening diseases. Even if they do, like Paul they will shake them off. (Act 28:3)

After all who determines the time of your homecoming?

We have seen this already – a close friend of ours missed working at a covid filled house by one day.

Does that mean we refuse official recommendations to control the outbreak? Not according to Peter quoted above.

Then the contentious issue...

The “vaccination” (not what we understood such to be)

This has become more divisive than Covid itself.

If we ignore the conspiracy theories, researches acted quickly to curb the outbreak and fast tracked the process, weighing the risk but with the experience of 30 or so years of research already done, presented a best possible solution at the time – to modify a tiny protein sequence to reduce symptoms and increase immunity.

Was it a silver bullet – no.

Has it reduced deaths and human suffering – yes.

Has the management of it been without corruption – likely not.

Has it provided draconian opportunities for oppressive Governments – yes.

So we were given the decision to jab or not.

Risks weighed both ways.

How did we decide ???

Back to the anointing that teaches us (1 Jn 2:27) a collective anointing among the mature.

We sought out folks we had closely fellowshipped with for 35 years plus and shared with their wisdom.

We took council and waited for His confirming peace.

Each stands before God (Rom 14:1-4)

None should condemn another for acting on the faith they were given.

Finally I urge seeking Him rather than searching Online.

Don't focus on what the world does, but respond to what Jesus wants us to do in the world.

I have spent some time putting this together and it comes with sincere concern for understanding and love.

vaccines have part of the virus in it to make your antibodies be able to fight the virus as your body can have virus antibodies can be in your body so you dont get it again and if you do you can fight it only people with Cancer ,and HIV can't fight the virus with antibodies because they are at risk of getting very, very ill, so they can get the virus more easily and in the uk they had to shield because it can kill them

i also agree this isnt the earth God warred this brother / sisters fighting brothers / sisters but we where told in the bible about this

Matthew 10:21-23 “Brothers will turn against their own brothers and hand them over to be killed. Fathers will hand over their own children to be killed. Children will fight against their own parents and will have them killed. 22 Everyone will hate you because you follow me. But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved. 23 When you are treated badly in one city, go to another city. I promise you that you will not finish going to all the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes again.

It came to me in a vision back in the beginning weeks of covid, the nations peoples are being split. It is a two part vision, one being the split. The second being all the holy angels in our earthly heavens fighting the angels of darkness. I'm still waiting on the next step. But I believe the separation will wax worse and worse till the end if the nations refuse to turn back to God. And we may be closer to the Lords return than any average Christian recognizes. It's not stopping folks ! So keep your lamps full of oil is my thinking thus far.

The people of the nations need to turn to God, they are running full steam ahead away from Him. In politics and even some churches that take on new worldly views. So look at this spiritually, it's not flesh and blood but spiritual matters.

Even this verse only talks about the Holy place and Judea. This is events that will take place in Israel that some people assume applies to the whole world. Verse 16 is a clear instruction to people in Judea.

Anyone knowing this truth and wanting to destroy a society could then go about it in a predictable way of sowing discord. Add to that encouraging godlessness and you have the perfect recipe:

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: Matthew 12:25

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6:48

We are always divided against ourselves, to the detriment of most. The dustup over Covid-19 reveals just how divided we are. And of course it is often the struggle of good vs evil.

I was sick the day after my Moderna booster vaccination with shivering, headache and body aches. I covered myself in blankets. Sometimes there were low grade fevers reported after vaccinations. I took an ibuprofen.

The good news is three days later there were no side effects. I am not on a ventilator waiting for a lung transplant. The booster shot is a good investment for a 62 year old with elevated blood pressure.

It's not the Wuhan virus that is winning; it's the narrative using the virus to enact tyrannical political and public policies that is dividing freedom-loving folk from those who want the State to protect and care for them at every turn. I think the devil is ultimately behind the push to use the Wuhan virus to enact global communism (Global Reset, Climate Alarmism, CCP Belt and Road Initiative/Wolf-Warrior Strategy) but not, I think, behind those who are resisting the push in such a direction.

Oh, people are listening - and trusting - sources of information with a credulousness that is deeply troubling. The talking heads of the pop media, in bed with the political Establishment and Big Pharma, are trumpeting "facts" through "experts" who are carefully fudging on what is actually true, or denying outright what the hard data concerning the virus and vaccines is revealing. And these agencies and experts use rhetoric that grows increasingly divisive, "othering" any who resist their narrative, inflaming public feeling in a very dangerous way.

We must listen, yes, but if what we hear is false - and destructively so, leading others to harm - we must not be passive in our response for the sake of avoiding division. Jesus said that the truth divides; it is necessarily exclusivistic and narrow. This produces conflict with what is false. This natural conflict between truth and lies is not something Christians ought to avoid for the sake of peace and unity. Jesus refused to relinquish or "adjust" the truth for the sake of peace. Consider his frequent tense exchanges with the Pharisees. We ought to follow his example.

It is in the truth that unity and peace are found, not in "just accepting" whatever someone else wants to adopt as true, regardless of its actual veracity. Peace is not the crucial thing, truth is. Really, there is no genuine peace to be found outside of the Truth.

It is because people have grown...flexible about the truth, subjective and careless about it, that many of them have been led so easily and deeply into the incredibly false mainstream narrative concerning the Wuhan virus. It is not "failing others" to point this out; just the opposite, in fact.

In regard to Covid, or any other disease, the truth about health, especially immune health, has no place in the public mind whether professional, political, or workaday. So there's that.
